Comentarios cortos o largos [Reflexión]
Saludos amigos de Hive, esta es la primera publicación que hago por esta comunidad, y lo haré en tono reflexivo. Hay una importancia en los comentarios, creo que afirmarlo está de más y sobre todo en esta comunidad donde se reflexiona sobre los comentarios.
Pero, últimamente he pensado en la dicotomía que existe entre los comentarios cortos o los comentarios largos, obviamente me refiero a los comentarios orgánicos, nada de los mensajes que son arrojados por bots y que desde lejos evidencian su ausencia de alma, aunque eso es totalmente válido en el caso de proyectos que desean hacer alguna invitación y es más fácil hacer un mensaje universal para todos igual que invitar uno a uno, y que por tiempo es algo cuesta arriba, pero lo del tiempo lo evaluaremos más adelante.
Primero, definamos los parámetros de lo qué es un comentario largo y por otro lado cómo es un comentario corto, aunque lo importante de un comentario no es su extención, en muchos casos la extensión y la forma de elaborar el comentario evidencian otros asuntos lo suficientemente relevantes como para catalogar si es o no, un buen comentario. De modo que a mi juicio la extensión en muchos casos evidencia lo esencial en el comentario. Aunque la extención es solo el rasgo fenotípico, es innegable que devela los razgos genotipicos de los comentarios que hacemos.
Llamemos comentario corto al comentario de menos de 10 palabras y un comentario largo al que posee más de 30 palabras. Es más, hagamos una tabla y categoricemos a los comentarios en 5 niveles:
- Mini Comentarios (Menos de 10 Palabras)
- Comentario medio (Entre 10 y 20 Palabras)
- Comentario decente (Entre 20 y 30 palabras)
- Comentario largo (Entre 30 y 50 palabras)
- Comentarios XL (Más de 50 palabras)
Pero, ¿Cómo sucede esto? ¿Cómo la extensión devela mucho más que la cantidad de palabras?
Creo que a todos nos han dejado de todo tipos de comentarios en nuestros post, y normalmente (por lo menos en mi caso) me da más satisfacción responder un comentario largo que uno corto, eso no significa que no responda con amabilidad y cortesía los comentarios cortos, ni tampoco que un comentario corto no sea digno.
Pienso que, mientras más largo sea el comentario más fue el impacto que ha dejado tu contenido en la persona que comenta, porque precisamente un comentario largo ha interpelado al otro. Ahora bien, es justo preguntarnos:
¿Un comentario corto no es digno de ser considerado?
Soy de los que piensan que siempre será mejor un comentario que sea lo suficiente como para expresar que has leído el post y no necesariamente un comentario corto devele vanalidad al momento de comentar. Un comentario corto, puede ser tan poderoso como uno largo si se sabe expresar lo esencial. Evaluando desde la cuestión del tiempo, hacer comentarios orgánicos quita tiempo, creo que resulta muy improbable dejar 20 comentarios largos cada día. Solo que nos dediquemos un día solo a comentar y sin embargo para comentar hay que leer, el post, y hay post que puedes mirar en un par de minutos, pero otros llevan tiempo, independientemente si es un post escrito o audiovisual.
Creo que nadie puede tener la potestad de imponer la dignidad de los comentarios, lo que si es justo con todos en el ecosistema es promover la cultura del buen comentario independientemente de la extensión, cosa que me parece fabuloso del proyecto del @elcomentador llevado por nuestro amigo @garybilbao. He visto de todo tipo de contenido sin un solo comentario como también he visto post con decenas de comentarios.
Pienso que no debe llegar un post al tiempo de payouts sin por lo menos tener un comentario. Es vital que todos comentemos y lo hagamos bien, quizá el tiempo no nos dé para hacer largos comentarios, pero si los hacemos cortos que de verdad sean sustanciosos y que develen que el post ha llegado al espiritu de la persona que comenta.
En resumen, ¿Qué es mejor un comentario largo o uno corto? Da igual, siempre que sea un comentario de calidad que se note que te haz tomado el tiempo pasar por el post. Lo verdaderamente penoso y pobre es que hagamos un comentario corto con abundante simpleza, que a leguas denote que es de esos comentarios que se dejan por salir del paso, aunque he visto comentarios medianamente largos que no dejan nada, literalmente son un cúmulo de palabras pero no hay más.
El verdadero trabajo es comentar haciendo notar que el contenido te ha interpelado, sae en consonancia o disonancia. Soy de los que les gusta leer comentarios que contrastan, no por la polémica que a veces puede girar en torno a debates en los comentarios, sino, que hay oportunidades donde el contraste genera buenas oportunidades de diálogo y esto es genial. Porque crear un debate en los comentarios es crecer juntos, ya que al exponer ideas dispares o puntos en desacuerdo exponemos ideas que pueden dialogar en su contraste haciendo que los que debaten asuman puntos de vista contrarios y eso es importante ya que nos aleja del dogmatismo que a veces estamos tentados cuando nos dejamos persuadir en demasía de una idea o creencia.
Pero debo aclarar que los debates en los comentarios no son peleas, o discusiones, sino debate, que no quiere decir otra cosa sino que partes diferentes exponen sus ideas y las defienden con el propósito de mostrar los puntos débiles del argumentación del otro, pero también mirar los puntos débiles de nuestra postura y además poder llegar juntos a un punto en común aunque sigan existiendo diferencias. Eso es un sano debate, y que muchas veces un buen comentario se puede prestar para un debate increíble.
Así que mi mensaje final es:
No importa si el comentario que dejas sea corto o largo, lo que realmente importa es que le hagas saber al autor que su post ha interpelado en ti, de acuerdo o no hazlo saber siempre con respeto y amabilidad. Si se da un debate recuerda que no es un conflicto, sino que es la oportunidad de evaluar tus creencias o perspectivas desde otro punto de vista, y que mediante del debate puedes llegar a acuerdos con personas que piensan diferente a tí, e incluso un debate puede hacerte cambiar de opinión y eso es algo increíblemente sano.

Greetings friends of Hive, this is the first publication that I do for this community, and I will do it in a reflective tone. There is an importance to comments, I think stating it goes without saying and especially in this community where comments are reflected upon..
But, lately I have thought about the dichotomy that exists between short comments or long comments, obviously I am referring to organic comments, nothing of the messages that are thrown by bots and that from afar evidence their absence of soul, although that is totally valid in the case of projects that want to make some invitation and it is easier to make a universal message for all the same that to invite one to one, and that by time is something uphill, but the time thing we will evaluate it later.
First, let's define the parameters of what is a long comment and on the other hand how is a short comment, although the important thing about a comment is not its length, in many cases the length and the way of elaborating the comment show other issues relevant enough to catalog if it is or not, a good comment. So, in my opinion, in many cases, the length of the commentary is evidence of what is essential in the commentary. Although length is only a phenotypical trait, it is undeniable that it reveals the genotypical features of the comments we make.
Let's call a short comment less than 10 words and a long comment more than 30 words. Moreover, let's make a table and categorize the comments in 5 levels:
- Mini Comments (Less than 10 Words)
- Medium Comment (Between 10 and 20 Words)
- Decent Comment (Between 20 and 30 words)
- Long Comment (Between 30 and 50 words)
- XL Comments (More than 50 words)
But, how does this happen, how does the length reveal much more than the amount of words?
I think we have all been left all kinds of comments on our posts, and normally (at least in my case) I get more satisfaction answering a long comment than a short one, that doesn't mean that I don't answer with kindness and courtesy the short comments, nor that a short comment is not worthy.
I think that the longer the comment the more impact your content has left on the person who comments, because precisely a long comment has challenged the other. Now, it is fair to ask ourselves:
Is a short comment not worthy of consideration?
I am one of those who think that it will always be better a comment that is enough to express that you have read the post and not necessarily a short comment reveals vanity at the time of commenting. A short comment can be as powerful as a long one if you know how to express the essential. Evaluating from the question of time, making organic comments takes time, I think it is very unlikely to leave 20 long comments every day. Only that we dedicate a day just to comment and yet to comment you have to read the post, and there are posts that you can look at in a couple of minutes, but others take time, regardless of whether it is a written or audiovisual post.
I think no one can have the power to impose the dignity of the comments, what is fair with everyone in the ecosystem is to promote the culture of good commentary regardless of the length, which I think is fabulous of the @elcomentador project led by our friend @garybilbao. I have seen all kinds of content without a single comment and I have also seen posts with dozens of comments.
I don't think a post should reach payout time without at least one comment. It is vital that we all comment and do it well, maybe we do not have time to make long comments, but if we make short ones that are really substantial and that reveal that the post has reached the spirit of the person who comments.
In short, what is better a long comment or a short one? It doesn't matter, as long as it is a quality comment that shows that you have taken the time to go through the post. What is really embarrassing and poor is that we make a short comment with abundant simplicity, which clearly denotes that it is one of those comments that are left to get out of the way, although I have seen moderately long comments that leave nothing, they are literally an accumulation of words but there is no more.
The real job is to comment by noting that the content has challenged you, whether it is in consonance or dissonance. I am one of those who like to read comments that contrast, not because of the controversy that can sometimes revolve around debates in the comments, but, that there are opportunities where the contrast generates good opportunities for dialogue and this is great. Because creating a debate in the comments is to grow together, because by exposing disparate ideas or points of disagreement we expose ideas that can dialogue in their contrast making the debaters assume opposite points of view and that is important because it keeps us away from dogmatism that sometimes we are tempted when we allow ourselves to be persuaded too much of an idea or belief.
But I must clarify that the debates in the comments are not fights, or discussions, but debate, which means nothing else but that different parties expose their ideas and defend them with the purpose of showing the weak points of the argumentation of the other, but also to look at the weak points of our position and also to reach together a common point even if there are still differences. That is a healthy debate, and that many times a good comment can lend itself to an incredible debate.
So my final message is:
It doesn't matter if the comment you leave is short or long, what really matters is that you let the author know that his or her post has appealed to you, agree or disagree always let him or her know with respect and kindness. If there is a debate remember that it is not a conflict, but an opportunity to evaluate your beliefs or perspectives from another point of view, and that through debate you can reach agreements with people who think differently than you, and even a debate can make you change your mind and that is something incredibly healthy.
