As you have probably noticed, I'm not creating too many posts lately, as I'm on vacation with a limited (bad) Internet connection, and mostly outside and offline with friends and family... But today, I spent a bit more time checking stuff on HIVE that I missed in the last 7-8 days... I saw a few posts that made me anxious, tried to upload my Splinterlands video on 3Speak, and hit the wall in both...
As I was a bit pissed off, my wife suggested to me to go out for a walk, or a bike ride... I'm usually doing opposite things to what others are saying 😂, but this time I listened as I needed a bit of fresh air... It was hot all day, over 35 Degrees Celsius, but in the late afternoon some clouds arrived and the temperature went down a bit... Perfect time for going out!
The first choice was to go on foot or to ride a bike... If I ride a bicycle, I can go further, but I can't take photos, and the weather was perfect for that... So, I went for a walk...
The second choice was to go outside the town and enjoy nature, or to go to the outskirts, and easily jump back to town... Luckily, I chose the latter...
The weather was perfect, but not many people were outside... I saw the clouds, and thunderstorms far away, but I was thinking that they will avoid my place...
At this spot, we usually have great sunsets over the Danube, but at this time, the sun was still high, covered by clouds...
... the wind was blowing, creating these small waves... the ambient was like in a fairytale...
When I saw this cloud that reminded me of a couple of SciFi movies as it looks like a UFO, I knew that something is cooking... But, maybe it will fall down somewhere else?
...just ignoring the "storm FUD" and taking photos of flowers...
...from this moment, the rain was falling... not that much, but warming up... or better said, cooling down the air...
... I have changed my location and hidden under the roof of the nearest building...
... after the rain, the next level was ice!
... I didn't put my sneakers beside these ice cubes, but they were big... some of them like a fist!
... the first round was over, and I was on the move... The goal was to try to go home and stay relatively dry... lol... As I was already half-wet, it would be a tough job... 😃
I made progress of maybe 400 meters when the second round began... I found another "shelter" under the roof and patiently waited...
What's that?!?! Is it possible? That's the sun!!!
You can do it, Sun! C'mon! Burn those clouds!
As the asphalt was hot, thin vapor was created over the road... I have tried to take a photo of it, but it's not that visible... But, the important thing is that the sun has won and the rain is defeated!!!
Now, I can enjoy photoshopping flowers, water puddles, and reflections in them...
It is summer, and it was still relatively hot... After an hour of hailstorm, I found these ice cubes in my garden and they were still pretty big! Maybe I should use them for something like this... 😃
