Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. We have all been in a situation where we wished the holiday was way longer so we could continue with the merriment and celebration that prompt a holiday, but it just wasn't possible, and we were forced to leave the celebration and merriment behind and return to our citadel of learning. Countless times during my high school days, I was stubborn and refused to return early, and I was punished severely.

Even now in college, many festive season holidays are quite short and not enjoyable, so sometimes we add a day or two, but in some cases, you are left with no choice other than to resume or face the consequences. Last year, my exams commenced on December 19, 2022, and we were to go on break on December 22, then resume on January 5, 2023, to continue our exams. Students complained about how short the holiday was, and no one gave a listening ear to all the students had to stay.
I decided I wouldn't travel since I was not living anywhere near school. I woke up on the 22nd morning, changed my mind, and traveled to the village. The celebration was one to remember. I saw my cousins who came from both far and near, even the ones I never knew existed. We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest, and before I realized it, January was already around the corner.
I still wanted to stay, but it just wasn't possible. I had to choose between enjoying my Christmas break or missing my exams. I had to leave on Sunday since we were not allowed to travel in the eastern part of my country on Mondays. The worst happened when our vehicle broke down in the middle of nowhere. My siblings and cousins said It was a sign I should not leave.
arrived at school late at night. The break was short, and I wished for more, but I would suffer the consequences, which were grievous, and I couldn't risk it.
Thanks for reading my post.
