We meet thousands of people throughout our course of study, but then, we get to single out very few of them and call them friends... There's always a reason why it is so.....Friends are indeed golden.
Meet My Special Friend
Meet, Usiagu Uwabor Paul, a friend turned brother to me.
I really have a lot to say about this my special friend, but, t I will be mindful of the word counts so I don't bore you, hehehe.
How Did We Meet?
Our meeting was the craziest of one, lol.
We went to the same Secondary School and that was where we met, but then, there was a funny incidence behind our meeting.
His elder brother was a school functionary at the time we were admitted into JSSS1; after the food was distributed in the refectory, I didn't want to eat mine there, so I smuggled myself out and ran to the hostel but guess what?
I bumped into his brother, a school functionary at the dormitory gate and he sent stars all-over my eyes with his thunderous slap.
I didn't eat the food at the dinning and I also didn't get to eat it in my room because the plate turned upside down while I was seeing starsπ
I left to my room and while discussing it with my bunkmate, he told me his junior brother was in our set, I angrily made enquiry and that was it...that was how we met..
I came to revenge on him what his brother did to me, but, we ended up becoming friends, hehe.
Paul is a very great guy, one who you can beckon on at anytime of the day and he will respond to your call... The real definition of the saying, "a friend in need is a friend indeed".
He's a tall, fair handsome guy (dream of Ladies) in his early twenties from Edo State in Nigeria.
He will always show up for me whenever I'm going through a lot even without opening up to him, he notices and will always give his solution to the problem, he's got one always, hehe.
Our friendship continued till we finished secondary school and guess what?
We applied to the same University for the same course.
We prepared for the exam together and as luck and hardwork may have it, we got admitted the same year to study our dream course.
Our Matriculation was a success and we faced the academic struggles once again together.
We have written many exams (second and third professional exam) and we are currently in our 500level, hehehe.
Our examination weeks are always the best because we keep on discussing about what we've read and we keep asking each other questions.
His joy will know no bound when he digs out a question that I can't answer so he could be able to explain and so do I... Making us to always focus on the thinnest details while reading our books, hehehe.
He is not the party type and so am I but for the few ones we've went to, we went there together.
He's not a great dancer alsoπ.
We've gone for different extracurricular activities including seminars and medical outreaches and for anyone I discovers first, he will register and join in.
In that same way, if he discovers first, he will send across the link to me so I could register too.
He plays board games very well, but, his legs are useless when it comes to football but guess what?
He's always there to cheer me up to victory and never misses any match I was playing in.
I've stayed with Paul for a very long time (12years and counting), but then, if there were bad side of him, that would be betting, eatery explorer and not going to church lol.
He doesn't joke with sports betting especially European Premier Leagues.
Also, he's someone who loves exploring various eateries, you would never see him come to a new environment and settle down with a particular eatery rather he will love to go round the whole eateries available before settling for one ππ... Don't know if it's a bad side though.
Maybe it is for me since I prefer eating what I cook and only buys food when I'm writing exams
He doesn't like going to church too regardless of how many times you wake him up, lol. I've succeeded in dragging him to church just few times, but, he's not a pagan though.
We've had issues in the past but we reconcile almost as we separate because we find a way to accept our sorry easily.
That's how it should be for friends anyway.
We've been everything to each other academically, financially, socially and life-wise.
You really need to have Paul in your life.
He is a great guy I'm always happy School gave me
Thanks for reading and have a blissful weekend π
