I wrote that I first saw carpetball or gutterball in 2002 at West Coast Camp. It was fun to play. It's like a mini-bowling game where you take turns knocking down Billiard pool balls as opposed to bowling pins.

I enjoyed waiting in long lines at that camp in 2002 and again in 2003 playing that game like all day. No, not all day. But totally during our free time in the afternoon. I loved it so much, I ended up trying to build my own game table for my Forest Grove High School Senior Project which is required for Seniors who want to graduate and go onto College or go onto work or living in a basement or whatever your heart desires.

I ended up getting help from people like Paul Walker and Mr. Hoeft in building the game table. I ended up redesigning the dimensions of the table and renamed this new version of the game Pocketball. Here are 101 scans from my project notebook on this page here. I've included every single page, even the blank pages. I started working on this project in 2003.

We started building it at Hoeft's house in the winter or in the spring of 2004. Paul Walker took me to Home Depot and bought the wood. Paul was my Senior Project Mentor and my ride to the workshop where we built the table with the help and the tools of Mr. Hoeft. I've known the Hoeft family going back to as early as 1994 or 1995 when I started attended Word Of Life Olympians at their Hillside Bible Church which is located outside of Forest Grove. Mr. & Mrs. Hoeft were and may still be the main leaders of that children Bible club. I grew up attending that Word Of Life club and then ended up going to a Word Of Life college after high school.

I don't remember exactly how many hours we spent building it. Well, it's probably recorded in the journal somewhere. I wrote down that there were 96 pages. But there are actually a few more which were not included it that count. So, I have 101 scans here in this article. I've not included photographs of the construction here. I'll probably make a new post focusing on that later on.

I decided to donate my table to my Community Baptist Church of Hillsboro, Oregon. I was also attended a Word Of Life's Teens Involved flavored youth group at that church. It was my favorite youth group growing up. Yes, I attended at least five different youth groups as a youth. That is all I can remember from the top of my head as of right now. I did enjoy building this thing.
