When I finally found the journal cover I wanted I had to give the creator the size of journals I use. This seemed like an easy, straight forward question to answer but it left me stumped. I had never really paid attention to journal sizes before. I bought whatever caught my eye and felt good in my hands. I didn't even know there were standard sizes for journals.
After checking out the many empty journals on my shelf I learned that I gravitate toward A5 journals which is the most popular size. The other popular sizes are A6, B5, and B6.
Last month I found a planner/journal from Scribbles that Matter that I wanted to use to help me track or stay on track with the November challenges I was going to participate in. I decided to get the planner journal in the bigger B5 size this time. I wanted more real estate to add notes to my calendar and habit trackers.
And now that I've used a bigger journal I'm worried I might start liking it more which is bad news for my custom made A5 journal cover.
What size of journal do you gravitate towards?
