Inspired by a question posed to me by @mad-runner in my last post about Serfdom&Sorcery, today I would like to explain what are the first commands that a newly registered player should know, as well as the basic rules that regulate the game's functioning.
Although I am by no means an expert and there are players out there who know a lot more than me, I do hope to be able to provide a brief introduction that will help newcomers approach and understand a little better the game they will find themselves playing.
Game commands: where to use them
So, assuming you've already signed up for the game - for those who haven't, you'll find a little guide at the bottom - once you've entered the official @psyberx server - or any other where the game has been activated, such as @tokenpimp's, run by @enginewitty - the first thing you need to understand is in which channels you can use the various ingame commands.
In @psyberx's case, the channels in which it is possible to play are those marked with the name play-room.
It is indeed strictly forbidden to send game commands in different channels, otherwise you risk a possible temporary ban from the server.
The only exceptions are some special channels where you can send only certain commands, such as the check-stats-here channel where you can use the !stats command to see your game stats.
Game commands: which are they?
Once you have identified the channels in which to play - e.g. play-rooms - you can start interacting with the bot with commands such as !fish !hunt !harvest or !hammer, bearing in mind that some are only available for a certain class.
Each command used corresponds to a small reward in DBLN, which you can use to unlock new commands - e.g. !mine, after buying a pickaxe through !buypickaxe - or to upgrade those already available using the forge - which must first be bought !buyforge.
In addition to these farming activities, you can also fight various monsters: to do so, simply use the !attack command, if you wish by first activating a !quest, which will provide you with a greater reward in exchange for stronger opponents.
Fighting is essential to gain experience and increase your level, but every attack corresponds to a counter-attack by the opponent monster, which slowly consumes your life.
How to restore your HP
If you do not want to die you can
- visit the shaman every 24 hours
!visit_shamanto have all your health restored - use a potion
!heal small | medium | large | huge, which must first be bought!buy_potion small | medium | large | huge - ask to be healed by a player who has chosen the healer job, paying the corresponding cost
If you are dead, you must buy a buy_potion revive and then use the !revive command, or go to the shaman (who not only heals, but also revives).
In addition, through the purchase of a hovel !buyhovel you can receive 20 HP every 4 hours - as well as being protected to a certain extent from Pillager attacks - so this may be a good purchase to prioritise when starting to play.
To steal or not to steal: that is the dilemma!
Lastly, if you want to venture into the risky world of stealing, you can try robbing another player with the !steal command, which I have personally never used to date, however - I would hate to make enemies 😂
This is roughly how the game works, available from the very beginning to all new users and which allows you to start setting aside some DBLN, with which you can increasingly improve your abilities.

Prendendo spunto da una domanda fattami da @mad-runner nello scorso post dedicato a Serfdom&Sorcery, vorrei oggi descrivere quelli che sono i primi comandi che un giocatore appena registrato dovrebbe conoscere, nonchè le regole fondamentali che disciplinano il funzionamento del gioco.
Premesso che non sono assolutamente un esperto e che a giro ci sono giocatori che ne sanno molto più di me, spero di riuscire a fornire una breve introduzione che possa aiutare i nuovi arrivati ad avvicinarsi e comprendere un po' meglio quello che si troveranno davanti.
Comandi di gioco: dove utilizzarli
Quindi, partendo dal presupposto che vi siate già iscritti al gioco - per chi non lo avesse fatto trovate in fondo una piccola guida - una volta entrati nel server ufficiale di @psyberx - o in qualsiasi altro in cui sia stato attivato il gioco, come quello di @tokenpimp, gestito da @enginewitty - la prima cosa da capire è in quali canali è possibile utilizzare i vari comandi del gioco.
Nel caso di @psyberx, i canali in cui è possibile giocare sono quelli contrassegnati dal nome play-room.
E' infatti severamente vietato inviare comandi di giochi in canali diversi, pena il rischio di un possibile ban temporaneo dal server.
L'unica eccezione è costituita da alcuni canali speciali in cui è possibile inviare solo alcuni comandi, come il canale check-stats-here in cui si può utilizzare il comando !stats per vedere le proprie statistiche di gioco.
Comandi di gioco: quali sono?
Una volta individuati i canali in cui giocare - ad esempio le play-rooms - si può iniziare ad interagire con il bot con comandi quali !fish !hunt !harvest o !hammer, tenendo presente che alcuni sono disponibili sono per una certa classe.
Ad ogni comando utilizzato corrisponde una piccola ricompensa in DBLN, che potrete utilizzare per sbloccare nuovi comandi - ad esempio !mine, previo acquisto di un piccone grazie a !buypickaxe - o per potenziare quelli già disponibili utilizzando la forgia - che deve prima essere acquistata !buyforge.
Oltre a queste attività di farming, potete però anche combattere vari mostri: per farlo vi basterà usare il comando !attack, se volete attivando prima una !quest che, a fronte di avversari più forti, vi fornirà una ricompensa maggiore.
Combattere è essenziale per accumulare esperienza ed aumentare il proprio livello, ma ad ogni attacco corrisponde un contrattacco del mostro avversario, che consuma piano piano la vostra vita.
Come ripristinare i propri HP
Se perciò non volete morire potete:
- recarvi dallo sciamano ogni 24 ore
!visit_shamanper vedere ripristinata tutta la vostra salute - utilizzare una pozione
!heal small | medium | large | huge, che dovrà però prima essere acquistata!buy_potion small | medium | large | huge - chiedere di essere curati ad un giocatore che abbia scelto il lavoro healer, pagando il relativo costo
Ove doveste invece essere morti, dovrete acquistare una pozione rivitalizzante !buy_potion revive e poi usare il comando !revive, oppure recarvi dallo sciamano (che oltre a curare, resuscita anche).
In aggiunta, tramite l'acquisto di una hovel !buyhovel potete ricevere 20 HP ogni 4 ore - oltre ad essere protetti entro certi limiti dagli attacchi dei Razziatori - per cui questo può essere un buon acquisto a cui dare la precedenza quando si inizia a giocare.
Rubare o non rubare: questo è il dilemma!
Infine, se volete avventurarvi nel rischioso mondo del furto, potete provare a derubare un altro giocatore con il comando !steal, che però non ho personalmente ad oggi mai utilizzato - non vorrei mai farmi dei nemici 😂
Questo è grossomodo il funzionamento base del gioco, disponibile fin dall'inizio per tutti i nuovi utenti e che consente di cominciare a mettere da parte un po' di DBLN, con i quali migliorare sempre più le proprie capacità .
