Break-Even Point: Getting Closer and Closer
Reaching the break-even point is, from the very beginning, my main goal on Rise of the Pixels.
In fact, the idea that I could make a profit from my gaming activity is something that has always fascinated me and the Play2Earn games, from this perspective, have opened the doors to a world that, until a few years ago, I did not even imagine could exist.
On Rise of the Pixels I initially invested $23 (1 Studio Licence and 5 packets of cards), but things then got a little out of hand when, between one purchase and another, I ended up with a Legendary card in my hands 😂
A major and very useful acquisition for my gaming activity, but one that brought my total expenses to 269 HIVE, which for my wallet are still quite a bit.
So, formed my team and put a brake on my expenses, I focused on recovering what I invested by devoting myself to the main activity of the game, which is... producing games!
This, combined with the good value that the PXL token has maintained to date, has allowed me to consistently achieve a good financial return.
Between one sale and another over the past few months I have in fact earned:
- 120 HIVE from my playing and selling activity of the PXL token
- 77 HIVE from my arbitrage activity on the PXL-HIVE pair
Overall, this means that out of the original 269 HIVEs I had invested, 198 HIVEs have been recovered and I am only another 71 HIVEs away from reaching the much desired break-even point.
Compared to a few months ago, when the feat seemed impossible, today I am much more positive and I start to believe that the time when I will be able to again buy more cards to further improve my team is not that far away :)
And my reputation continues to grow as well!
Meanwhile, my constant commitment to the game is also producing another noteworthy result: my studio's reputation has passed the 40 mark!
A higher reputation means a higher probability of getting bonus rounds during the distribution of rewards regarding a newly developed game.
The standard number of rounds is in fact 20 but, as reputation increases, it becomes easier to see this number go up.
In one game I even got as high as +5 extra rounds!
Another important help that brings me even closer to my goal which, by now, I hope to achieve as soon as possible, so that I can adjust my strategy and aim to form an even stronger dev team!

Punto di Pareggio: Sempre più Vicino
Raggiungere il punto di pareggio è, sin dall'inizio, il mio principale obiettivo su Rise of the Pixels.
L'idea infatti di poter trarre un guadagno dalla mia attività di gioco è un qualcosa che mi ha da sempre affascinato ed i giochi play2earn, da questo punto di vista, mi hanno aperto le porte di un mondo che, fino a qualche anno fa, neanche immaginavo potesse esistere.
Su Rise of the Pixels ho inizialmente investito 23 dollari (1 Studio Licence e 5 pacchetti di carte), ma le cose mi sono poi un po' sfuggite di mano quando, fra un acquisto e l'altro, mi sono ritrovato tra le mani una carta Leggendaria 😂
Un acquisto importante e molto utile per la mia attività di gioco, ma che ha portato le mie spese complessive a 269 HIVE, che per il mio account sono ancora un bel po'.
Per questo, formato il mio team e messo un freno alle mie spese, mi sono concentrato sul recuperare quanto investito dedicandomi all'attività principale del gioco, ossia... produrre giochi!
Ciò, unito al buon valore che il token PXL ha mantenuto sino ad oggi, mi ha consentito di ottenere in maniera abbastanza costante un buon ritorno economico.
Tra una vendita e l'altra in questi mesi ho infatti guadagno:
- 120 HIVE dalla mia attività di gioco e vendita del token PXL
- 77 HIVE dalla mia attività di arbitraggio sulla coppia PXL-HIVE
Nel complesso ciò significa che degli originali 269 HIVE che avevo investito, 198 HIVE sono stati recuperati e me ne mancano solo altri 71 per raggiungere l'agognato punto di pareggio.
Rispetto a qualche mese fa, in cui l'impresa mi sembrava impossibile, oggi sono molto più positivo e cominciare a credere che il momento in cui potrò tornare ad acquistare altre carte per migliorare ancora di più il mio team non sia poi così lontano :)
E anche la mia reputazione continua a crescere!
Nel frattempo il mio impegno costante sul gioco sta producendo anche un altro risultato degno di nota: la reputazione del mio studio ha superato la soglia dei 40!
Ad una maggior reputazione corrisponde una maggior probabilità di ottenere round bonus durante la distribuzione delle ricompense relative ad un gioco appena sviluppato.
Il numero di round standard è infatti 20 ma, via via che la reputazione incrementa, diventa più facile vedere questo numero salire.
In un mio gioco sono arrivato addirittura ad avere +5 round extra!
Un altro aiuto importante che mi avvicina ancora di più al mio obiettivo che, ormai, spero di poter raggiungere quanto prima per poter così modificare la mia strategia e puntare a formare un team di sviluppo ancora più forte!
