Can I Push My Rental Income Even Higher?
This is a question I periodically ask myself.
In fact, there's about a month left until the end of the first full year in which I participated in Splinterlands solely as an investor, and not as a player.
As I've already said many times, I still believe I made the right choice, since this way I’ve managed to save a lot of time – about 40 minutes every day – while keeping my earnings more or less unchanged – at least roughly speaking, since I wasn’t earning much before and I’m not earning much now either. 🤣
However, my goal on Splinterlands remains the same: to try to keep growing.
And right now, the best option for doing that seems to be card rentals, which over these past months has proven to be my main and most profitable source of income, bringing in very high returns – over 40% – not to mention the significant price increase of my Archons-type cards, which have almost doubled in price in just a few weeks.
So, what I’d like to try is simple: buy, with the help of SplinterROI, more cards to rent out, focusing on low-cost cards with high yield.
For funds, I’ll use:
- part of the earnings from rentals
- what I get from selling some Monster-type cards that I can’t rent out as well as I’d like
In fact, while the Archons are doing great, the Monsters are doing “just” fine.
And since I want to improve, “fine” just isn’t good enough for me.
Unlike the Archons, Monsters haven’t seen much of a value increase, and the yield they generate is definitely lower.
Not only that, some cards often don’t get rented at all, so after 30 days they’re automatically removed from the market.
Those are exactly the cards I want to start selling, since if they’re not in demand on the rental market, they’re basically useless to me, also because I don't think their value will increase.
Furthermore, the fact that they are being removed from the market forces me to carry out additional checks and operations, which I want to avoid.
One thing I’d like to do over time is to own only Archons-type cards, because I see them as the most important and potentially most in-demand on the rental market.
To make my purchases, I’m thinking of using the "bid" function on peakmonsters.com to try and get better deals than the ones available on the market.
As for expansions, I’d like to aim for Conclave Arcana, but, as mentioned above, a lot will depend on the results I get from SplinterROI: there’s still a long way to go before the Rebellion set rotates out of the Modern format, so if it still turns out to be the best set to buy, I’ll postpone my entry into Conclave Arcana to another time.

Posso Portare la Mia Rendita da Noleggio Ancora più in Alto?
E' questa una domanda che, periodicamente, mi pongo.
Manca infatti circa un mese alla fine del primo intero anno in cui ho partecipato a Splinterlands solo in qualità di investitore, e non di giocatore.
Come ho già detto più volte, ancora oggi penso di aver fatto la scelta giusta, dato che, in questo modo, sono riuscito a risparmiare davvero tanto tempo - circa 40 minuti ogni giorno - mantenendo più o meno invariati i miei guadagni - almeno in linea di massima, nel senso che poco guadagnavo prima e poco guadagno adesso. 🤣
Tuttavia, il mio obiettivo su Splinerlands resta sempre e solo uno: cercare di continuare a crescere.
E per farlo adesso l'opzione migliore sembra il noleggio delle carte, che in questi mesi si è più volte confermato come la mia principale e maggiore fonte di guadagno, restituendomi ritorni molto elevati, superiori al 40%, e senza contare l'importante aumento di prezzo che hanno subito le mie carte di tipo Arconte, quasi raddoppiate di prezzo nel giro di poche settimane.
Quindi, ciò che vorrei provare a fare è semplice: comprare, anche grazie all'aiuto di SplinterROI altre carte da poter noleggiare, puntando a carte dal costo basso e rendita elevata.
Come fondi utilizzerò:
- parte dei ricavati del noleggio
- ciò che otterrò dalla vendita di alcune carte di tipo Mostro che non riesco a noleggiare bene quanto vorrei
Infatti, mentre gli Arconti vanno alla grande, i Mostri vanno "solo" bene.
E dato che io voglio migliorare bene non è abbastanza per me.
A differenza degli Arconti, i Mostri non hanno visto il loro valore aumentare particolarmente e la rendita che generano è decisamente più bassa.
Non solo, alcune carte spesso non vengono proprio noleggiate, tanto che dopo 30 giorni vengo automaticamente rimosse dal mercato.
Ecco, proprio queste ultime sono le carte che voglio iniziare a vendere, dato che, se non sono richieste del mercato dei noleggi, per me sono praticamente inutili, anche perchè non credo che il loro valore possa aumentare.
Inoltre il fatto che vengano rimosse dal mercato mi costringe a fare controlli ed operazioni aggiuntivi, cosa che voglio evitare.
Una cosa che mi piacerebbe fare, nel tempo, è infatti arrivare a possedere solo carte di tipo Arconte, perchè sono quelle che considero più importanti e potenzialmente più richieste sul mercato dei noleggi.
Per effettuare i miei acquisti penso che mi affiderò alla funzione "bid" di peakmonsters.com, così da cercare di ottenere condizioni migliori di quelle di mercato.
Come espansione mi piacerebbe puntare a Conclave Arcana, ma, come scritto poco sopra, molto dipenderà dai risultati che mi restituirà SplinterROI: ancora manca molto alla rotazione del set Rebellion fuori dal Modern format, per cui se quest'ultimo dovesse confermarsi ancora come il set più conveniente da acquistare, rimanderò il mio ingresso in Conclave Arcana ad un altro momento.
