Looking For a Bargain Through Bid Offers
With the start of a new Season, fresh DEC has landed in my wallet: seeing my balance suddenly increase by several thousand DEC is always a pleasure. Now that I have some resources to spend, it's time to begin the next step in my strategy — buying Archons from the Conclave Arcana set.
I'm increasingly convinced that I want to focus solely on this type of card, both because Archons are essential for playing, and because owning cards of just one type makes managing my collection much simpler.
That's why today I checked some prices on Peakmonsters.com and identified the first card to start placing buy bids on: Kavor Skarn, a Dragon-element card that allows you to deploy not only Dragon cards but also those from the Dragoshian bloodline.
Before placing my bid, however, I used SplinterROI to evaluate the rental ROI for this card and other rare Archons from the Conclave Arcana set.
I chose to focus on level 2 cards, as their ROI is currently significantly higher than that of level 1 cards.
The number of cards rented isn't particularly high, but the data is still promising, and this has definitely convinced me to move forward with my plan.
Buy Bids
Since I'm not in any rush — waiting a few more days doesn't change much — I've decided to take advantage of the bid feature on Peakmonsters.com to try to buy at least a few copies at a lower price than the current market value.
Currently, my bid isn’t great and ranks fourth among available offers, although it's the only one suitable for someone looking to sell a level 2 card.
However, if no one accepts it — which is quite likely — I’ll look to improve it over the next few days using the DEC I continue to earn from my rentals. With another thousand DEC, I think I could make my offer much more competitive, and that might be enough to hit my goal.
Once that’s done, I’ll wait a couple more Seasons to accumulate enough DEC to place a new buy bid for another CA Archon, and so on.
If my plan works, I could, over the course of a few months, begin building a decent collection of Archons from the Conclave Arcana set, allowing me to start the inevitable transition toward this newer set.
The only thing I still need to carefully consider is whether or not I should pause in the meantime my regular SPS purchases: 2000 DEC per month isn’t nothing, and right now, cards seem to be much more profitable... maybe I’ll have to settle for just the staking rewards for a while.
On the other hand, if I obtain more resources from renting out the cards, tomorrow I will be able to purchase even more SPS, so a brief pause now could correspond to greater earnings tomorrow.

Alla Ricerca di un Affare Tramite le Offerte di Acquisto
Con l'inizio di una nuova Stagione arriva anche nelle mie casse nuovo DEC da spendere: vedere il mio balance aumentare all'improvviso di alcune migliaia di DEC è sempre un piacere e, adesso che ho un po' di risorse da spendere, è il momento di cominciare ad attuare il prossimo step della mia strategia, ossia l'acquisto di Arconti del set Conclave Arcana.
Sono infatti sempre più convinto di volermi concentrare solo su questo tipo di carta, sia perchè gli Arconti sono essenziali per giocare, sia perchè avere carte di un solo tipo mi semplifica la vita e la gestione della mia collezione.
Per questo oggi ho guardato un po' di prezzi su Peakmonsters.com e ho individuato la prima carta per cui cominciare a piazzare offerte di acquisto, ossia Kavor Skarn, una carta dell'elemento Drago che consente di schierare non solo le carte di questo elemento, ma anche quelle della bloodline Dragoshian.
Prima di piazzare la mia offerta ho però utilizzato SplinterROI per valutare il ROI da noleggio di questa carta e degli altri Arconti rari del set Conclave Arcana.
Ho scelto di concentrarmi sulle carte di livello 2, perchè il loro ROI è attualmente abbastanza più alto di quelle di livello 1.
Il numero di carte noleggiate non è altissimo, ma i dati sono comunque promettenti e questo mi ha convinto definitivamente a procedere con il mio piano.
Offerte di acquisto
Dato che non ho particolarmente fretta - qualche giorno in più non mi cambia nulla - ho deciso di sfruttare la funzione bid offerta da Peakmnosters.com per provare a comprare almeno qualche copia ad un prezzo più basso di quello di mercato.
Attualmente la mia offerta non è un granchè e si piazza al quarto posto tra quelle disponibili, sebbene sia l'unica adatta per chi voglia vendere una carta di livello 2.
Se però nessuno dovesse accettarla - cosa abbastanza probabile - nei prossimi giorni procederò a migliorarla utilizzando il DEC che nel mentre continuerò a ricevere dai miei noleggi: con un altro migliaio di DEC penso di poter rendere la mia offerta molto più competitiva e ciò potrebbe essere sufficiente per raggiungere il mio obiettivo.
Fatto ciò, aspetterò un altro paio di Stagioni per accumulare di nuovo abbastanza DEC per piazzare una nuova offerta di acquisto per un altro Arconte CA, e così via.
Se il mio piano dovesse funzionare sarei così in grado, nell'arco di qualche mese, di cominciare a costruire una collezione di Arconti del set Conclave Arcana decente, in modo da iniziare l'inevitabile operazione di transizione verso questo set.
L'unica cosa che devo valutare bene è se nel mentre voglio o meno sospendere il periodico acquisto di nuovi SPS: 2000 DEC al mese non sono pochi ed in questo momento le carte sembrano molto più redditizie... forse per un po' dovrà accontentarmi delle ricompense da staking.
D'altra parte, se ottengo più risorse dal noleggio delle carte un domani sarò in grado di acquistare ancora più SPS, per cui una piccola pausa adesso potrebbe corrispondere ad un maggior guadagno domani.
