Splex.GG Has Been Shut Down... a Great Platform I Won't Forget!
I had been dreading this news for a while: accessing the site had become increasingly difficult, and some features had stopped working properly a long time ago...
And yet, I couldn't help but feel deeply saddened by the shutdown of Splex.GG, a site developed by the incredibly talented @yixn, who is also the creator of the game Golem Overlord.
In the past, I’ve written several times about Splex.GG, the Rental Golem, and other features provided by the site. I used it to place bid offers, monitor the best cards to buy, automatically claim my Splinterlands rewards and stake them, and much more.
It was a reliable companion that helped me tremendously in managing my collection and executing my strategies, giving me full control over my assets and providing me with countless useful tools.
Going without it will leave a gap in my Splinterlands experience, one that won’t be easy to fill.

Even though I will no longer be able to use Splex.GG and all its features, I can’t help but thank who had the passion to build and maintain this site over the years.
On Hive, I’ve often seen people create projects with dedication and effort, and for me, Splex.GG will always be one of them.
Unfortunately, many factors influence the success of a platform, and sometimes, despite everything, luck plays an important role.
The prolonged decline in the value of Splinterlands assets certainly didn’t help, as the sustainability of a site like this depends largely on the revenue generated by its users. If everything is worth less, commissions are lower too, making it inevitable that, in the end, keeping such a platform running would become financially unsustainable.
And yet, I want to say thank you once again, because I’m sure a lot of hard work went into Splex.GG, even if things had likely been difficult for a long time.
Now, I’ll have to start looking for alternatives that allow me to do what I used to on this platform.
The most urgent task will be finding a service similar to the Rental Golem, so I can continue automating my card rentals, as I don't want to manage them manually.
The other thing I want to do is keep supporting Golem Overlord, @yixn’s other project. It’s another incredibly well-crafted game with great potential. I just hope that, this time, luck is on his side!

Splex.GG E' Stato Chiuso... un Grande Sito che Non Dimenticherò!
Era da un po' che temevo questa notizia potesse arrivare: accedere al sito era diventato sempre più complicato e alcune funzioni avevano smesso di funzionare correttamente da parecchio tempo...
Eppure non ho potuto fare a meno di apprendere con molta tristezza la chiusura di Splex.GG, sito sviluppato dal talentuosissimo @yixn, creatore anche del gioco Golem Overlord.
In passato ho scritto varie volte di Splex.GG, del Rental Golem e di altri features messe a disposizione dal sito: lo usavo per effettuare offerte di acquisto, per monitorare le carte migliori da acquistare, per riscattare automaticamente le mie ricompense su Splinterlands e metterle in staking, e altro ancora.
E' stato un compagno affidabile che mi ha aiutato tantissimo a gestire la mia collezione ed attuare le mie strategie, offrendomi pieno controllo sulla mia collezione e mettendo a mia disposizione tantissimi strumenti utili.
Farne a meno lascerà un vuoto nella mia esperienza su Splinterlands, vuoto che non sarà facile colmare.

Anche se non potrò più usare Splex.GG e tutte le sue features, non posso fare a meno di ringraziare chi ha avuto la passione di costruire questo sito e gestirlo in tutti questi anni.
Su Hive ho visto spesso persone costruire progetti con passione ed impegno e Splex.GG per me sarà sempre annoverato fra questi.
Purtroppo ci sono tanti fattori che influenzano il successo di una piattaforma e, nonostante tutto, alle volte anche la fortuna gioca un ruolo importante.
Di sicuro non ha aiutato poi questo lungo periodo di depressione nel valore degli assets di Splinterlands, dato che sicuramente la sostenibilità di un sito come questo si basa soprattutto sugli introiti generati dai suoi utenti: ovviamente se tutto vale poco, anche le commissioni ottenute sono basse ed era inevitabile che, alla fine, rendessero gestire un sito del genere economicamente insostenibile.
Eppure voglio dire ancora una volta grazie, perchè sono sicuro che su Splex.GG è stato fatto tanto, anche se probabilmente era da tanto che le cose erano difficili.
Ora dovrò mettermi alla ricerca di alternative, che mi consentano di fare quello che già facevo su questa piattaforma.
La cosa più urgente sarà trovare un servizio simile al Rental Golem, così da poter continuare ad automatizzare il noleggio delle mie carte, dato che non voglio doverlo gestire manualmente.
L'altra cosa che invece voglio fare è continuare a supportare Golem Overlord, l'altro progetto di @yixn: si tratta anche qui di un qualcosa di estremamente ben fatto e dalle grandi potenzialità. Spero solo che in questo caso la sorte sia più propizia!
