Hi all friends, here is my participation in the weekly cooking challenge organized by @qurator, here all the info: [Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | Vegetarian] (@qurator/qurator-s-hive-top-chef-or-vegetarian), which I thank very much for this wonderful initiative because it allowed me and my friend, Sara, to pass a very pleasant and fun day together with cooking and eating :-).
Today we cook a vegetarian dish and we chose a classic Italian dish, like me: PIZZA !!
INGREDIENTS FOR THE DOUGH (2 people):
- 600 grams of flour for pizza.
- 6 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt
- 25 grams of brewer's yeast.
- Sugar.
- Water.
Let's start by preparing the dough for our pizza, but the brewer's yeast in a glass with hot water and half a teaspoon of sugar and wait for it to dissolve, stirring from time to time, in the meantime coffee time :-).
In a pan put the 600 grams of flour, and add the six tablespoons of olive oil and a little salt to taste (for the salt it depends on your taste).
Add the previously dissolved yeast to this mixture and mix by adding water to create a homogeneous mixture.
And here is the final result:
Sara's secret to understanding, if the dough is perfect, is to test its elasticity by pinching our dough; if the pasta comes back it's top !.
At this point, let the ball rise in a bowl covered with a cloth.
Sara prefers to let it rise already pulled into the oven pan and expands it with her hands greased with oil, then she covers the pan with a cloth and puts it in the oven, turned off, with the light on (so she is not afraid :-)).
Our dough is ready and there is only to wait.
SARA'S ADVICE:
- the dough should be left to rise for at least two hours, better if prepared in the morning for the evening or even the night before, in this case, you can use less brewer's yeast.
- For a softer and higher dough, add plenty of water.
CONDIMENT !! OUR CHOICE !!
- Passata di Datterini. (Sicilian tomatoes D.O.P.)
- Mozzarella and / or Buffalo Mozzarella.
- Zucchini.
- Cherry tomatoes.
For our Vegetarian Pizza, we have chosen these things but you can vent your taste with the things you like most (Please no to Pineapple :-)), clearly zero meat if you want a vegetarian pizza.
Here is our dough after three hours of leavening.
With our hands, we massage it a little and begin to stuff our Pizza sprinkling it with red Datterino Passata.
Before putting the rest of the ingredients we put it in the oven at 180 degrees for fifteen minutes.
While we wait, let's grill the Zucchini.
After fifteen minutes, we complete the Pizza with the rest of the filling.
We decided to make half of it with buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes and a half with normal mozzarella and zucchini.
Bake for another 15/20 minutes and here is our completed and cooked pizza, we just have to eat it :-).

Ciao a tutti amici, ecco la mia partecipazione alla sfida settimanale di cucina organizzata da @qurator, qui tutte le info: Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | Vegetarian, che ringrazio tantissimo per questa bellissima iniziativa perchè ha permesso a me e alla mia amica Sara di passare una piacevolissima e divertente giornata insieme a cucinare e a mangiare :-).
Oggi cuciniamo un piatto vegeteriamo e abbiamo scelto un classico piatto, Italiano, come me: la PIZZA!!
INGREDIENTI PER L'IMPASTO (2 persone):
- 600 grammi di farina per pizza.
- 6 cucchiai di olio di oliva
- Sale
- 25 grammi di lievito di birra.
- Zucchero.
- Acqua.
Iniziamo preparando l'impasto per la nostra pizza, mettiamo il lievito di birra in un bicchiere con acqua calda e mezzo cucchiaino di zucchero e aspettiamo che si sciolga mescolando di tanto in tanto, nel frattempo caffè time :-).
In una teglia mettere i 600 grammi di farina, e aggiungere i sei cucchiai di olio di oliva e un pò di sale a piacere (per il sale dipende dal vostro gusto).
Unire a questo composto il lievito sciolto precedentemente e mescolare aggiungendo acqua fino a creare un impasto omogeneo .
Ed ecco il risultato finale:
Il segreto di Sara per capire se l'impasto è perfetto, è quello di testarne l'elasticità pizzicando la nostra pasta; se la pasta torna indietro è top!.
A questo punto, far lievitare la palla dentro una ciotola coperta con un telo.
Sara preferisce farla lievitare già tirata nella teglia da forno e la espande con le mani unte di olio, poi copre la teglia con un telo e la mette nel forno, spento, con la luce accesa (cosi non ha paura :-)).
Il nostro impasto è pronto e c'è solo da attendere.
CONSIGLI DI SARA:
- la pasta va fatta lievitare minimo due ore, meglio se preparata al mattino per la sera o addirittura la sera prima, in questo caso si può utilizzare meno lievito di birra.
- Per un impasto più soffice e alto abbondare con l'acqua.
CONDIMENTO!! LA NOSTRA SCELTA!!
- Passata di Datterini. (Pomodori Siciliani D.O.P.)
- Mozzarella e/o Mozzarella di Bufala.
- Zucchine.
- Pomodorini.
Per la nostra Pizza Vegetariana abbiamo scelto queste cose ma voi potete sfogare il vostro gusto con le cose che più vi piacciono (Vi prego no all'Ananas:-)), chiaramente zero carne se volete una pizza vegetarina.
Ecco il nostro impasto dopo tre ore di lievitazione.
Con le mani lo massaggiamo un pò e iniziamo a farcire la nostra Pizza cospargendola di Passata di Datterino rosso.
Prima di mettere il resto degli ingredienti la mettiamo in forno a 180 gradi per quindici minuti.
Mentre aspettiamo grigliamo le Zucchine.
Passati i quindici minuti completiamo la Pizza con il resto della farcitura.
Abbiamo deciso di farne metà con la mozzarella di Bufala e i pomodorini e metà con la mozzarella normale e le zucchine.
Infornare per altri 15/20 minuti ed ecco qui la nostra pizza completata e cotta, non ci resta che mangiarla :-).
