It really feels like they just rugged Soulkeep. I can't even play right now unless I aditionally stake SPS and I don't even know in there are rewards.
The fundamental setup for these games is just totally broken. They require a ton of money to be invested which pretty much all go toward paying the devs heavy salaries. In return, some imaginary rewards are given that only really hold up if more and more players come in. Players on top are forced to play each and every day instead in a setup where fun is compromised by pay2win. The moment no new players come in, the rewards start to decline, and the assets start to lose all their value going into a death spiral.
These games to succeed should focus on
- Fun & Not pay2win
- Play When You Want & Not Forced To Grind Daily
- Sustainable lower Rewards & Not High Rewards to See everything crashing down
- Asset Values that have real price protection & Not assets that become worthless
If feels like everything in the Splinterlands Universe suffers the same problems with no real solution in sight.
