My entry today is very personal, because I'll tell you about my firsthand experience! Let's go.

È l’ultimo giorno per partecipare al contest #36 della community Olio di Balena, che questa settimana ci chiede una cosa molto importante: “Supportare gli altri su Hive: perché (e come) fa la differenza". In questo link trovi tutte le informazioni per partecipare.
La mia entrata di oggi è molto personale, perché vi racconterò della mia esperienza diretta! Partiamo.

In 2019, I started writing on this platform thanks to the help of a friend, who unfortunately is no longer active. He told me about the possibility of running my own blog in a decentralized world with true freedom of expression: I couldn't believe it! I'd always wanted to create my own space on the web, but I'd never found the ideal platform.
My friend helped me with writing in Markdown and HTML (I really knew nothing about it!), with portfolio management, and gave me great initial support with curation.
Over the years, many things have changed, even if the rules of conduct have remained more or less the same! New features have been introduced, like videos, cool front-ends like Peakd and Ecency, apps... The change is unstoppable.
Nel 2019 cominciai a scrivere su questa piattaforma grazie all’aiuto di un amico, che purtroppo oggi non è più attivo. Mi raccontò della possibilità di gestire un proprio blog su un mondo decentralizzato e con vera libertà di espressione: non mi sembrava vero! Avevo sempre voluto creare uno spazio tutto mio sul web, ma non avevo mai trovato la piattaforma ideale.
Il mio amico mi aiutò con la scrittura in linguaggio Markdown e HTML (non ne sapevo veramente nulla!), con la gestione del portafoglio e mi diede un grande supporto iniziale con l’attività di curation.
Nel corso degli anni, molte cose sono cambiate, anche se le regole di comportamento sono rimaste circa sempre le stesse! Sono state introdotte nuove funzionalità, come i video, i front-end fighissimi come Peakd e Ecency, le app… Il cambiamento è inarrestabile.

In 2024, I decided to give back to this opportunity I was given by introducing the world of Hive to my boyfriend @ghilvar.
The idea came very spontaneously: sharing a project with the person you love is one of the most meaningful and profound experiences in life. Whether it's building a model, planning a trip, or starting a business, working together on common goals strengthens the bond and enhances complicity!
That's why I decided to share this beautiful blogging project with my boyfriend, so we can support each other and achieve small goals together.
I couldn't be happier with this choice!
Nel 2024 ho deciso di ricambiare questa opportunità che mi è stata data, introducendo il mondo di Hive al mio fidanzato @ghilvar.
L’idea è nata in maniera molto spontanea: condividere un progetto con la persona che si ama è una delle esperienze più significative e profonde della vita. Che si tratti di costruire un modellino, pianificare un viaggio o aprire un’attività, lavorare insieme con obiettivi comuni rafforza il legame e migliora la complicità!
Per questo motivo ho pensato di condividere questo bellissimo progetto di blogging con il mio fidanzato, in modo da poterci supportare a vicenda e raggiungere piccoli traguardi insieme.
Non potrei essere più contenta di questa scelta!

It was all quite difficult at first, because @ghilvar is completely unfamiliar with the blockchain world: transactions, private keys, wallets, staking... Incomprehensible terms!
The main work, therefore, was laying the foundations for a secure and long-lasting existence on the platform. I taught him how the wallet works and how to make his first transactions. He also independently decided to invest a few euros to boost his profile.
Then, we worked on the content. He wants to talk about science, herbalism, and natural medicine, because these are his passions. I explained to him how proof-of-brain works, the fact that sources must always be original and verifiable, and I provided him with some sites for copyright-free images.
I also taught him some basic language so he could start writing posts.
All’inizio è stato tutto abbastanza difficile, perché @ghilvar è una persona completamente a digiuno del mondo blockchain: transazioni, chiavi private, wallet, staking… Termini incomprensibili!
Il lavoro principale, quindi, è stato porre le basi per una sicura e longeva vita sulla piattaforma. Gli ho insegnato come funziona il wallet e come fare le prime transazioni. Ha anche deciso autonomamente di investire qualche euro per dare un’accelerata al profilo.
Poi, abbiamo lavorato sui contenuti. Lui ha il desiderio di parlare di scienza, erboristica e medicina naturale, perché sono le sue passioni. Gli ho spiegato come funziona la proof-of-brain, il fatto che le fonti devono essere sempre originali e verificabili e gli ho fornito alcuni siti per le immagini senza copyright.
Gli ho anche insegnato un po’ di linguaggio di base per poter iniziare a scrivere i post.

But the support doesn't end there, because obviously the road is all uphill! I always try to support his posts with my upvote, even if it's worth little at the moment because I have a lot of delegated Hive Power.
The most important advice, in my opinion, was to interact as much as possible with users and make yourself known in the communities. In fact, when a user is new, many people are discouraged from voting and commenting, because there's always the suspicion that is a scammer. With real interactions between people, however, trust increases and therefore the possibility of interaction!
Ma il supporto non finisce qui, perché ovviamente la strada è tutta in salita! Cerco sempre di supportare i suoi post con il mio upvote, anche se al momento vale poco perché ho molto Hive Power delegato.
Il consiglio più importante, secondo me, è stato quello di interagire il più possibile con gli utenti e di farsi conoscere nelle community. Infatti, quando un utente è nuovo, molte persone sono scoraggiate a votare e commentare, perché c’è sempre il dubbio che sia uno scammer. Con le interazioni reali tra persone, invece, si aumenta la fiducia e quindi la possibilità di interazione!

I hope the advice I've given him so far is valid and that it helps him on this climb to success on Hive.
I'm sure that if each of us could introduce someone and take care of their stay on the platform, our ecosystem would grow very quickly!

Spero che i consigli che gli ho dato finora siano validi e che lo aiutino ad affrontare questa scalata verso il successo su Hive.
Sono certa che se ognuno di noi riuscisse a introdurre una persona e a prendersi cura della sua permanenza sulla piattaforma, il nostro ecosistema crescerebbe molto velocemente!
