The day you stop making a mistake, the same day you seize being human. What differentiates us from the divine is our nature that's inevitable to mistakes, I have seen and heard of people who hated themselves because of a mistake they've done, they go as far as holding unto that shortcomings their entire lives enslaving themselves with bitterness, hatred, and inferiority complex. No, you've been wrong all this while, mistakes make us human, and the more reason why we need to dust it off, learn from it, and move on. Our knowledge as humans are limited, we don't know it all and may never know it all, why hurt yourself trying to be perfect. "No one is perfect", we all err at one point or another.
Most people who're at the top of the ladder today, be it business tycoons, celebrities, politicals, etc. all made mistakes at some points in their lives, but they chose to ignore them all, learn from it, and strive for what lies ahead.
It's the mistakes we've had in the past that make us stand out in the future, if only we embrace our nature, strive to be better, and use the knowledge we have gained to become a stepping stone. Why holds yourself bond with chains of regrets when you're only human,? Why cling to the past until it denies you a future,? And why try to be perfect when imperfections lie in our nature and our knowledge is limited. You and I are humans because we can't elude making mistakes, the scout for perfection is a vain search that will only makings you a different person.
You're allowed to make as many mistakes as you can, but only before you're 40. Yeah, that's the age at which you should start utilizing all you've learned in your days of imperfections. I have wondered why people say "life begins at 40", I'm convinced now that it's because we have the other years to make all the mistakes we should and learn from it before the time.
