How to enable Perplexity Pro for FREE...
Just an FYI, I followed through all the steps that I am going to describe now and this has enabled Perplexity Pro with my Gmail account, meaning I just sign up with my Gmail and I am IN to leverage Perplexity Pro all for FREE. The process is that SIMPLE and within seconds if you are an Airtel customer you can take advantage of Perplexity AI. Lets look at the step by step process to enable Perplexity Pro..
Step 1: Eligibility Check
- User need to be on an eligible Airtel postpaid or prepaid plan (₹699 or higher)
- Incase not then upgrade your plan via the Airtel Thanks App.
Step 2: Download & Open Airtel Thanks App
- Based on your mobile down Airtel Thanks App for Android OR iOS
- Login via the OTP [One Time Password]
Step 3: Find Perplexity & Claim the Offer
- On the Home screen, or on the search bar type “Airtel Rewards” or “Thanks Benefits”
- You will see the Perplexity Pro Subscription appear with a claim now button. Something like this screen
Tap on the Perplexity Pro banner And
You’ll be redirected to Perplexity.ai in your browser
Step 4: Create or Log In to Perplexity Account
- Simply use your Google, Apple, or email ID to sign up or log in

Now that we have the Perplexity Pro enabled, I wanted to check what benefits I get from it as opposed to using a free version of Chatgpt. Airtel claims that this FREE version of Perplexity Pro is worth couple of hundred dollars then we need to see what value its providing to the customers and for that I thought of making a table to clearly demonstrate the value we get as opposed to using free AI tool or something like ChatGpt.
