Did you guys check on the latest announcement from the leofinance team on the - 970 Million LEO Burned - Inflation Set to 0, New Rewards Pool is LIVE. Will this huge burn of #LEO tokens change the game here and we could see uptick in the price of #LEO tokens? What do you all have to say on this? I have a decent stake in LEO tokens which is close to 31.7K tokens which at the current selling price is more than 3.5K+ #HIVE. Will this turn out to be a game changer for me, for that will have to wait and see how things unfolds in near future. But for sure the #LEO token has no more printing and it would rather become deflationary as there are going to be steps in place to burn #LEO tokens. Some of them highlighted the announcement post are as follows::
- 100% of Bridging revenue now burns the LEO Token
- Wraps/Unwraps LEO, there is 2-5% fee is charged and 100% of this fee revenue will now burns LEO
970 Million #LEO tokens BURNED - My Strategy Ahead...
Coming to the part of my strategy, at first I had to undelegate my #LEO tokens from account @meocurator. As there is not point in delegation now and I would recommend if you had your LEO tokens delegated - start with undelgation and it will take close to 5 days before its available at your dispersal. But #hodl on the LEO tokens undelegated doenst mean that they will be liquid tokens. As a next step one would need to further unstake the tokens and wait for another 28 days to have all your #leo tokens as liquid. Since Yes the Cooldown: 28 days and it happens over 4 transactions. As part of next steps, I am planning to have all 31.7K+ LEO tokens as liquid. In between if there is price surge and I happen to have my first transaction of liquid leo tokens received I may consider selling them as well for #HIVE and then power up all that HIVE. But this will depend on the sharp increase in the price of the leo token. As part of the strategy I am also thinking to capitalize this opportunity to grab some #LEO tokens if there is a sharp decline which I doubt that will happen considering this announcement of 970 Million leo tokens have been burnt. Lets see how market reacts so far there has been not such drastic change observed. On hive-engine I am seeing low trade volumes of around 1300 leo tokens worth $300 traded. For now its good to keep a watch on the token price and then act accordingly.
