In this post we are further going to deep dive and understand how one can earn more #COLONY tokens. Its going to be a bit technical where we understand what Logarithmic Growth vs Linear Growth means, how the #COLONY multipler table is built with its defined formulae mentioned in the Stake House Den whitepaper along with real examples and insights into how staking influences your in-game #COLONT tokens rewards. Ok before move any further its important to understand that the game has been allocated 80 Million #COLONY tokens to be distributed over 5 years from Arcade Colony voted by Arcade Colony DAO [Decentralized Autonomous Organization].

Thats how the #COLONY tokens are coming into the game for rewards distribution to the players. Lets now look into FIVE key elements here before we deep dive any further and they are::

Here is the formulae for the above key elements in the game that helps in derving the #COLONY tokens rewards.
Rshares = (ColonyStakingMultiplier / 10 ) x (GameResultFactor / 10) x (HotSauce)^1.2
Game Rewards = (Rshares / (TotalRshares2Week + Rshares)) x (PoolBalance / 1000)
GameResultFactor = will be based on game and win type
Colony Staking Multiplie = 1 + 2 raise to the power log 10 (Staked Colony/10 raise to the power 6)
Now that we know about all the FIVE key elements in the game that helps in calalculating gam rewards. Lets have a look at key elements and how their value can impact the rewards.

Ok now before we get to the example part. Here is a bit more on the how COLONY token staking can make an impact. Its imperative to understand the same before we get to our example. Please note that Colony Staking Multiplier increases based on the amount of Colony tokens staked, using the formula:

What we can infer from the above table is that the multiplier increases logarithmically, so it slows down as you stake more #COLONY tokens. As an example have a look at the following table to understand it better. I have added a new column which is Percent increase from last staking.

As clearly visible from the above table the Logarithmic Growth early staking gives bigger gains, but later staking gives smaller gains. And wheras in the linear growth, every additional 1 million Colony staked might increase the multiplier by a fixed amount, lets say by +0.2%. Hence we can say that going from staking 100K to 1 Million #COLONY tokens increases multiplier by +0.50. But going from 10 Million to 100 Million only increases it by just +0.56% even though we are staking 90 Million more tokens and this is what Logarithmic Growth is all about. I guess now, lets have a look at an example based on some values assigined to the Key elements in the game. Let’s assume:
Colony Staking Multiplier = 2.0

As seen from the above table we can clearly see that
Increasing GameResultFactor from 5 to 8 raises rewards by ~60% And
Doubling Hot Sauce from 2.0 to 4.0 nearly doubles the rewards again, because of the exponent (1.2) in the formula.
And to sum it up its imperative to understan how staking, game performance, and reward formulas interact as this gives one a clear picture so as to optimize their #COLONY tokens earnings. The deeper your strategy, the greater your rewards. Feel free to correct and provide inputs.
