When we started out in kindergarten or in junior high we were told that energy is the ability to do work, what we understood was the physical strength to do work, application of force to be able to do something in as much this is true we must understand that energy exist in different forms, I'm not really about the other forms of energy that we know like the kinetic, potential energy among others I'm concerned about other aspect of energy that really do exist but we rarely pay attention to them....
The same way we have energy exist in other forms we also have energy in other aspect as well, but mostly these other aspect of energies are mostly internal, some thing that propels us to do an act in a certain way...
You can call this internal energies the will power to do or act in a certain way, will power is that ability within us to be able to do something, this is an internal energy a force to gear you towards doing something.
These are some of the reasons why when you feel like doing something , you probably don't end up doing it, not like you are not physically strong you're but somehow you can't bring yourself to do it, that's how procrastination comes in....
I am someone that doesn't really give In much thought for relationships I feel I don't have the strength to bare all that comes with one, the emotional, psychological, mental demands that it requires a lot of internal energies and so I don't have the time for that...
Understanding internal energies goes on to help you set your priorities aright, setting your priorities means assigning level of energies to different task from the most highly demanding to the least such that you can do most things when it is necessary as at when due, what most people don't know is that when ever you set priorities, scale of preference target, goals, this enables you understand how best to channel your energies well.....
Most of us there a lot of things that don't appeal to us, no matter what, but then there are something that no matter our state of being we will jump on it, like I know a friend of mine who no matter how down he is, he must go out to play ball, one time he was very sick but still he won't take no for an answer, altho he was physical down, but his internal energies was high, and most times our internal energies is what propels our internal energies that gear us towards being able to perform a task well enough....
Remember from the beginning I said this internal energies is otherwise known as the will power of the mind, whatever anyone does in life first of all must have taken place in the mind, that's constructive imagination this is what's guide us and help us actualize what we want to do, once our minds made up, that will generate energies towards these things help us get them done, but where the mind is absent there is no internal energies we often feel weak, tired, stressed, overwhelmed and make reasonable excuse for not doing that thing, it doesn't matter of you're physically strong or not.
As a matter of fact there are so many thousands and one activities reaching out to us, but since our energy levels is not sufficient enough to go round all these activities we then need to cut down unnecessary energy draining activities and focused on what matters most, this what it means to set priorities right.
Procrastination on the other hand is allocating your internal energies to least most important things, while the most important things are left undone there by wasting time and effort, the better way to overcome this is to understand that there is a limited amount of energy and time factor to play, and so get things right in their appropriate time is to allocate the right amount of energies to what's most important and aim at it till it's done.
