You may consider the ants as the smallest of all animals, and wonder why you need learn from them. As small as the ants are, they still posses characteristics that uniquely distinguish them from other animals. The bible say, The ants labour and gather in winter against the coming summer. Who told the ants it's winter or summer, and who told them it's best to plan ahead? That's a rhetorical question, but you can reflect on it. Lazy men rise from your slumber, and learn from the ants, though small, they work hard through the dry season gathering food enough to sustain them for the coming season. A lazy man finds comfort with his bed, he wakes and again resume his sleep dreaming his fantasy and ignorant of the future
Though susceptible to risk, they're brave to face it, walking to a distant location in search for food. The ants also posses the spirit of unity, together they lift up a heavier log of food. Have you ever noticed an ant after sighting a food? It goes back to the castle and invite others who comes to help out and the food particle which seems heavy at first becomes lighter as they join hands together to carry it. Lack of Unity has made us human to achieve just little things from the many things that's made available for us, we notice racism, tribalism, egotism, etc. Taking the hold on us.
An ant always consider the future, this is why they make plans to defeat the forthcoming consequences, they understand hard work is required of them to survive. Lazy men never do, they remain stuck in their comfort zone and never take a step to make plans for the future. Learn from the ants, small yet hardworking, small yet have a plan to tackle the future, small yet understands that unity is required of them to do big things.
