Since I started my adventure on Splinterlands I have always written a monthly report in which I have only considered the financial aspect of Splinterlands.
This month's report is not a report like all the others because it is the first annual report.
It's been, in fact, 12 months and 18 days since I registered to the most famous game of Hive.
My reports can be useful for those who are thinking of registering on Splinterlands and want to get an idea of what Splinterlands can offer in addition to the game and the fun aspect.
Note: In the numbers of this report the comma "," and the dot "." are decimal separators.

Previous Report Result
The starting point of my report is the economic result obtained in the previous months and indicated in my previous report.
In eleven months I achieved a total profit of 149.437 $ and a ROI of 57.68 % compared to a total investment of 259.100 $.
Cards Purchased and Sold in October
In October I did not buy cards on the market because I decided to save money to buy some plots of land from the pre-sale that will take place on November 7th.
DEC Purchased and DEC Sold in October
On October 5th I sold 81000 DEC on the Hive Engine market in exchange for 400.14 HIVE corresponding to a value of $64.8.
This was definitely a mistake on my part because I had not been informed about the new Splinterlands land. If I had sold today I would have obtained much more.
Valuation of Splinterlands as an investment
Below I will calculate the total costs I have incurred and the total revenue I have obtained to date.
Total Investment Cost
The total cost of my investment on Splinterlands is given by the following sum:
I Revenues
On Splinterlands the revenues are mainly three:
- the value of the Cards
- the value of the tokens DEC (Dark Energy Crystal) accumulated.
- the value of the DEC tokens sold (64.8 $).
How much are my cards worth?
To calculate the dollar value of my cards I use Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/@libertycrypto27/collection).
The Collection section of the PeakMonsters website makes the calculation much easier and faster.
To calculate the value of my card collection I take into account the total value using the Market Price.
Last month my card collection was worth 393.57 $.
My collection of cards has grown in value and this is even more important because I did not buy cards in October.
How much are my DEC worth?
For each battle won you receive as a reward a certain amount of DEC.
The DEC are the Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) of the Splinterlands game.
Thanks to the battles won and the rewards obtained from the completion of the daily missions I have on my wallet a total of 29535 tokens DEC.
To calculate the value in dollars I must first check the DEC value on Hive Engine (Highest Bid).
Today, November 5, 2020, the best bid for 1 DEC is 0.00852 HIVE (Highest Bid).
Please note that on September 26th the value was 0.00416 HIVE (Highest Bid).
While in August 1 DEC was worth 0.00295 HIVE.
Profit

Now I have all the data I need to calculate any profit or loss.
ROI
( Return On Investment )
The ROI value also doubles compared to the value recorded in the previous month!
Final Considerations
In one year I made a profit of 307.279 $.
The ROI obtained is 118.59 %.
Also last month the profit had grown a lot compared to the previous month but this month the profit recorded is the highest profit I have recorded so far.
In fact my profit after 10 months was 44.014 $, after 11 months it was 149.437 $ while today it is 307.279 $ and shows an increase of + 157.842 $ compared to the previous month.
Profit and ROI have increased a lot because:
- the average value of the cards has increased.
- the value of DECs has increased by a lot
The trend of the ROI from the sixth month onwards is as follows:
- ROI after 6 months: 34.73 %
- ROI after 7 months: 77.02 %
- ROI after 8 months: 10.93 %
- ROI after 9 months: 34.33 %
- ROI after 10 months: 16.99 %
- ROI after 11 months: 57.68 %
- ROI after 12 months: 118.59 %
The trend of the PROFIT from the sixth month onwards is as follows:
- PROFIT after 6 months: 27.992 $
- PROFIT after 7 months: 82.346 $
- PROFIT after 8 months: 24.214 $
- PROFIT after 9 months: 78.902 $
- PROFIT after 10 months: 44.014 $
- PROFIT after 11 months: 149.437 $
- PROFIT after 12 months: 307.279 $
The profit in the eighth month dropped because some players had put on sale a large number of cards at very low prices and as a consequence there was a general decline in the value of many cards especially the Beta collection.
In my card collection most of the cards are just cards from the Beta collection.
In the ninth month the prices of the cards increased again and the value of my card collection also increased with the consequent increase of the ROI and Profit value.
In the tenth month my card collection increased its value but the cost incurred for the purchase of DICE packages was higher and therefore both ROI and Profit decreased by almost half compared to the ninth month.
In the eleventh month the introduction of the Power Collection modification has encouraged many players to invest in the purchase of the cards in order to increase their Power score and advance in the more advanced gaming leagues that guarantee higher rewards.
In this month the cards have had a further increase in value and at the same time the DECs have also had a very high value.
This month's profit (307.279 $) is just over double the total profit recorded in the previous month (149.437 $).
A truly exceptional result.
After a year I can say that Splinterlands is absolutely an excellent investment.
But the best thing is that I got the excellent annual profit in the best way ever: by playing!

Da quando ho iniziato la mia avventura su Splinterlands ho sempre scritto un report mensile nel quale considero solo l'aspetto finanziario di Splinterlands.
Il resoconto di questo mese non è un resoconto come tutti gli altri perchè è il primo resoconto annuale.
Sono passati, infatti, 12 mesi e 18 giorni da quando mi sono iscritto al gioco più famoso di Hive.

Il punto di partenza è il risultato economico ottenuto nei mesi precedenti e indicato nel mio precedente report.
In undici mesi ho ottenuto un profitto totale di 149.437 $ e un ROI del 57.68 % a fronte di un investimento totale di 259.100 $.
Carte Acquistate e Vendute nel mese di Settembre
Nel mese di Ottobre non ho acquistato carte sul mercato perchè ho deciso di risparmiare per comprare alcuni terreni dalla prevendita che ci sarà il 7 Novembre.
DEC Acquistati e DEC Venduti nel mese di Ottobre
Il 5 Ottobre ho venduto 81000 DEC sul mercato di Hive Engine in cambio di 400,14 HIVE per un valore di 64.8 $.
Questo è stato sicuramente un errore da parte mia perchè non mi ero informato sulla novità dei terreni di Splinterlands. Se avessi venduto oggi avrei ottenuto molto di più.
Valutazione di Splinterlands come investimento
Di seguito calcolerò il totale dei costi che ho sostenuto e il totale dei ricavi che ho ottenuto fino ad oggi.
Costo Totale Investimento
Il costo totale del mio investimento su Splinterlands è dato dalla seguente somma:
I Ricavi
Su Splinterlands i ricavi sono principalmente due:
- il valore delle Carte
- il valore dei token DEC (Dark Energy Crystal) accumulati.
- il valore dei token DEC venduti (64.8 $).
Quanto valgono le mie carte?
Per calcolare il valore in dollari delle mie carte utilizzo il sito Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/@libertycrypto27/collection).
La sezione Collection del Sito di PeakMonsters facilita e velocizza di molto il calcolo.
Per calcolare il valore della mia collezione di carte prendo in considerazione il valore totale usando i Prezzi di Mercato.
Il mese scorso la mia collezione di carte valeva 393.57 $.
La mia collezione di carte è cresciuta di valore e questo dato è ancora più importante perchè non ho acquistato carte a Ottobre.
Quanto valgono i miei DEC?
Per ogni battaglia vinta si riceve come ricompensa un certo quantitativo di DEC.
I DEC sono i Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) del gioco di Splinterlands.
Grazie alle battaglie vinte e alle ricompense ottenute dal completamento delle missioni giornaliere ho sul mio wallet un totale di 29535 token DEC.
Per calcolare il valore in dollari devo prima controllare il valore dei DEC su Hive Engine (Highest Bid).
Oggi 5 Novembre 2020 la migliore offerta di acquisto per 1 DEC è di 0.00852 HIVE (Highest Bid).
Da notare che il 26 Settembre il valore era di 0.00416 HIVE (Highest Bid).
Mentre ad Agosto 1 DEC valeva 0.00295 HIVE.

Adesso ho tutti i dati che mi servono per calcolare l'eventuale profitto o l'eventuale perdita.

Anche il valore del ROI raddoppia rispetto al valore registrato nel mese precedente!
Considerazioni Finali
In un anno ho ottenuto un profitto di 307.279 $.
Il ROI ottenuto è del 118.59 %.
Anche il mese scorso il profitto era cresciuto molto rispetto al mese precedente ma questo mese il profitto registrato è il profitto maggiore che ho registrato fino ad ora.
Infatti il mio profitto dopo 10 mesi era di 44.014 $, dopo 11 mesi era di 149.437 $ mentre oggi è di 307.279 $ e fa registrare un incremento di + 157.842 $ rispetto al mese precedente.
Il profitto e il ROI sono aumentati di molto perchè:
- il valore medio delle carte è cresciuto.
- è aumentato di molto il valore dei DEC

L'andamento del PROFITTO dal sesto mese in poi è il seguente:

Il profitto nell'ottavo mese é sceso perchè alcuni giocatori avevano messo in vendita un gran numero di carte a prezzi molto bassi e di conseguenza c'è stato un calo generale del valore di molte carte soprattutto della collezione Beta. La mia collezione è composta per la maggior parte proprio da carte della collezione Beta.
Nel nono mese i prezzi delle carte sono tornati a crescere ed è cresciuto anche il valore della mia collezione di carte con il conseguente aumento del valore del ROI e del Profitto.
Nel decimo mese la mia collezione di carte ha aumentato il suo valore ma il costo sostenuto per l'acquisto dei pacchetti DICE è stato maggiore e quindi sia il ROI che il Profitto hanno subito una diminuzione quasi della metà rispetto al nono mese.
Nell'undicesimo mese le modifiche introdotte dal Collection Power hanno spinto molti giocatori a investire nell'acquisto delle carte per poter aumentare il proprio punteggio Power e avanzare nelle leghe di gioco più avanzate.
In questo mese le carte hanno avuto un aumento di valore e contemporaneamente anche i DEC hanno fatto registrare un valore molto alto.
Il profitto di questo mese (307.279 $) è poco più del doppio del profitto totale registrato nel mese precedente (149.437 $).
Un risultato davvero eccezionale.
Dopo un anno mi sento di poter affermare che Splinterlands è assolutamente un eccellente investimento.
Ma la cosa più bella è che ho ottenuto l'ottimo profitto annuale nel modo più bello in assoluto: giocando!
