Muterra: I bought my first tamer licence and am ready to play!
Those who regularly read my Hive blog know very well my passion for blockchain based games and in particular for Hive games.
The topic of my post today is Muterra a Hive based play-to-earn game that I decided to invest in almost two years ago during the presale of the Maldives packs.
I participated in the presale of the Maldives packs on 27 July 2021 and shared my participation with a post on my Hive blog: MUTERRA Pre-sale: New game on the HIVE blockchain!.
Muterra is a TCG game project like Splinterlands but unlike Splinterlands it is also a RPG.
Muterra is a game in the Alpha V.1.100 development phase and many features have not yet been implemented but it is already possible to play in PvE mode while PvP mode is not yet playable.
To play PvE mode and to be eligible to earn in-game rewards you must:
- have 1 Tamer with activated licence or alternatively use the default tamer with 1 activated licence.
- send the Tamer into the game
- find and kill mutees to obtain items that can be sold in exchange for MUTs (Muterra's native tokens) that can be withdrawn from the in-game wallet and sent to the Hive Engine wallet
There is also an interesting new feature announced by @muterra in a post published a few hours ago: MUTERRA : DEVELOPMENT LOG - ENTRY 5
In July, a new MINI-GAME will be released that has taken inspiration from another famous Hive game: Terracore.
This new mini-game is called Mole Miner and will increase the usefulness of MUT tokens, which will acquire a new use case.
In the screenshot below you can read the information about the game Mole Miner published by @muterra.
My first Lincense Tamer purchased and activated!
To play in PvE mode and to collect in-game rewards, you must have the comination: Tamer + Tamer Licence.
A few months ago I participated in the Echo Tamers sale and was lucky because I bought 2 Echo Tamers which I paid for with WOO tokens (4000 WOO per Echo Tamer).
I therefore already have an early game advantage because I don't have to use the default tamer which has no abilities but can use 1 Echo Tamer which has the following abilities:
- +1 carrying capacity
- +10% higher stamina
The only thing I am missing to be able to start playing and to be able to start accumulating in-game rewards is a Tamer Licence.
The Tamer Licenses are for sale in the Shop section of Muterra.
The first 10000 Tamer Licenses have been put on sale at a discounted price of 50%: 10$ per licence instead of 20$ per licence.
Starting with licence number 10001 the price will be $20.
To date, 489 Tamer Licences have been sold and there are still 9511 Tamer Licences for sale at a price of $10 that can be paid for using the HBD, SWAP.HIVE, SWAP.HBD and SWAP.WAX tokens.
Today I bought my first Tamer Licence but I did not buy it from the Shop section of Muterra but from the Market section because I found a tamer licence at a much cheaper price: 7.80$
For the purchase I spent 24 SWAP.HIVE = $7.7970.
After purchasing the licence I went to the Inventory section and then went to the In-Active Tamers section where I clicked on the image of my Echo Tamer.
On the next screen I selected one of my two Echo Tamers and clicked ACTIVATE (bottom centre of the screen).
After activation, my Echo Tamer was moved to the Active Tamers section.
I clicked on the image of my tamer and on the next screen I selected my tamer and then clicked DEPOSIT.
By depositing in game my tamer will lose his score in the ongoing airdrop of MUT tokens and I will receive 0.1 MUT less from the airdrop each day but on the other side I will be able to start collecting in-game rewards.
After activating my Tamer I went to the Home of Muterra (https://muterra.in/) and clicked on PLAY ALPHA.
On the next screen I clicked on START GAME.
On the next screen I chose my Echo Tamers
On the next screen I clicked PLAY and started playing, interacting with the characters and exploring the game's maps.
In the next days I will try the PvE mode of Muterra and in my next post I will share my impressions and evaluations of this game mode and the value of the game rewards obtainable.

Muterra: Ho comprato la mia prima licenza e sono pronto a giocare!
Chi legge regolarmente il mio Hive blog conosce molto bene la mia passione per i giochi basati su blockchain e in particolare per gli Hive games.
L'argomento del mio post di oggi è Muterra un gioco Hive based in cui ho deciso di investire quasi due anni fa durante la presale dei pacchi Maldives.
Ho partecipato alla presale dei Maldives packs il 27 luglio 2021 e ho condiviso la mia partecipazione con un post pubblicato nel mio Hive blog: MUTERRA Pre-sale: New game on the HIVE blockchain!.
Muterra è un progetto di un gioco TCG come Splinterlands ma a differenza di Splinterlands è anche un gioco RPG.
Muterra è un gioco nella fase di sviluppo Alpha V.1.100 e molte funzionalità non sono state ancora implementate ma è già possibile giocare nella modalità PvE mentre la modalità PvP non è ancora giocabile.
Per giocare alla modalità PvE e per essere abilitati a guadagnare le ricompense di gioco è necessario:

- inviare il Tamer nel gioco
- trovare e uccidere i mutees per ottenere items che possono essere venduti in cambio di MUT (i token nativi di Muterra) che possono essere prelevati dal in-game wallet e inviati nel Hive Engine wallet
C'è anche una nuova e interessante novità annunciata da @muterra in un post pubblicato poche ore fa: MUTERRA : DEVELOPMENT LOG - ENTRY 5
Nel mese di luglio sarà rilasciato un nuovo MINI-GAME che ha preso ispirazione da un'altro Hive game famoso su Hive: Terracore.
Questo nuovo mini-game si chiama Mole Miner e aumenterò l'utilità dei token MUT che acquisiranno un nuovo caso d'uso.

La mia prima licenza comprata e attivata!
Per giocare nella modalità PvE e per raccogliere le ricompense di gioco è necessario avere la cominazione: Tamer + Tamer Licence
Qualche mese fa ho partecipato alla vendita degli Echo Tamers e sono stato fortunato perchè ho acquistato 2 Echo Tamers che ho pagato con i token WOO (4000 WOO per Echo Tamer).
Ho quindi già un vantaggio di gioco iniziale perchè non devo usare il tamer di default che non ha abilità ma posso utilizzare 1 Echo Tamer che ha le seguenti abilità:
- +1 carrying capacity
- +10% higher stamina
L'unico elemento che mi manca per poter iniziare a giocare e per poter iniziare ad accumulare le ricompense di gioco è una Tamer License.
Le Tamer Licenses sono in vendita nella sezione Shop di Muterra.
Le prime 10000 Tamer Licenses sono state messe in vendita ad un prezzo scontato del 50%: 10$ per licenza invece di 20$ per licenza.
A partire dalla licenza numero 10001 il prezzo sarà di 20$.
Fino ad oggi sono state vendute 489 Tamer License e ci sono ancora 9511 Tamer License in vendita al prezzo di 10$ che è possibile pagare utilizzando i token HBD, SWAP.HIVE, HIVE, SWAP.HBD e SWAP.WAX.
Oggi ho acquistato la mia prima Tamer License ma non ho effettuato l'acquisto dalla sezione Shop di Muterra ma dalla sezione Market perchè ho trovato una tamer license ad un prezzo molto più conveniente: 7.80$
Per l'acquisto ho speso 24 SWAP.HIVE = 7.7970$
Dopo l'acquisto della licenza sono andato nella sezione Inventory e poi sono andato nella sezione In-Active Tamers dove ho cliccato sull'immagine del mio Echo Tamer.
Nella schermata successiva ho selezionato uno dei miei due Echo Tamer e ho cliccato su ACTIVATE (in basso al centro della schermata).
Dopo l'attivazione il mio Echo Tamer è stato spostato nella sezione Active Tamers.
Ho cliccato sull'immagine del mio tamer e nella schermata successiva ho selezionato il mio tamer e poi ho cliccato su DEPOSIT.
Con l'operazione di deposit in game il mio tamer perderà il suo punteggio ai fini dell'airdrop in corso dei token MUT e io riceverò 0.1 MUT in meno dall'airdrop ogni giorno ma dall'altro lato potrò iniziare a raccogliere le ricompense di gioco.
Dopo l'attivazione del mio Tamer sono andato nella Home di Muterra (https://muterra.in/) e ho cliccato su PLAY ALPHA.
Nella schermata successiva ho cliccato su START GAME
Nella schermata successiva ho scelto il mio Echo Tamers
Nella schermata successiva ho cliccato su PLAY e ho iniziato a giocare, a interagire con i personaggi e ad esplorare le mappe del gioco.
Nei prossimi giorni proverò la modalità PvE di Muterra e nel mio prossimo post condividerò le mie impressioni e le mie valutazioni su questa modalità di gioco e sul valore delle ricompense di gioco ottenibili.
