My Modern Format Game Activity and Progress
+ My Start with XBOT in the Wild Format: Step by Step Guide for XBOT Setup
I play on Splinterlands since September 2019, I have played over 37K battles without using bots because Splinterlands is a nice game with fun and structured gameplay and because I simply enjoy playing in the Modern Format where there are only human players like me.
Starting today and for the first time I will start using a bot in the Wild Format.
I would like to double my manual gaming activity by playing in the Modern Format and also in the Wild Format but I can't do that because in the Wild Format there are so many bots and I don't enjoy playing against bots that are more efficient than me.
I could have chosen to use a bot with my main account but I chose to split the game activity and starting today:
- I will play in the Modern Format with @libertycrypto27 and continue to play having fun as my main goal.
- I will be an investor in the Wild Format in which I will use my curation account for SPT tokens (@libertygame27) and manage my old cards using a bot to achieve the only fun possible in an “idle game”: profit
In my opinion the division of ranked game modes should be:
- Modern Format for human players
- Wild Format for human players
- Bot Format for bots and human players.
If this division existed I would also play manually with my old cards but in the current division a human player like me is almost “forced to use a bot” to use his old cards.
I have not yet made the final choice on which bot to use in the Wild Format between:
- XBOT (https://xbot.app/home)
- ARCHMAGE (https://archmage.app/)
I will make this choice in 7 days because I have decided to use the 7-day free trial of XBOT.
As preliminary operations before starting the free trial of XBOT:
- I delegated all my old cards (except double copies) to @libertygame27
- I have **delegated 30K SPS to @libertygame27
- I transferred 2000 DEC to libertygame27 and purchased the Wild Pass.
With libertygame27 I will start by playing in the DIAMOND III league of Wild Format because I had tested playing manually in Wild Format some time ago and had ended the season in this league.
I will start with a 30K SPS delegation and will evaluate whether to increase or decrease it based on the SPS gains I will get in the Wild Format in the season I just started.
My yardstick for managing my SPS tokens between the two accounts will be the comparison at the end of the season with the amount of SPS I earned by playing in the last completed season in the Modern Format.
To start the free trial of XBOT I went to https://xbot.app/home and did the sign in.
Then I clicked on Keychain to connect @libertygame27 to XBOT
Then I clicked on Keys and on the next screen I entered the posting key
Then I clicked on Config where there are many options to choose from.
I left the default options.
The last setup operation I performed was to click on Active to change the status of Next Session from Pending to Active.
Now I just have to wait for the bot to start playing for me.
As for my game activity and progress in Modern Format, in the last completed season I played 265 battles winning 129 of them.
My win rate has worsened compared to the previous season: -2.69%
I started the new season in the Gold I league with 143K GLINT to spend in the Glint Shop.
I spent 60K Glint to purchase 400 Common Draw.
Thanks to the cards I found in the 400 Common Draw I now have 11 Rebellion reward common soulbound level 8 cards and Chaos Evoker level 9 cards.
I also purchased 100 Rarity Draws for which I spent 75K GLINT (My Opening Result Link)
I increased the level of some cards and now I have 4 reward rare cards of level 6 and 8 cards of level 5
With increasing level my Rebellion Reward cards begin to be interesting and potentially useful in battle.
This early in the season I also started buying Epic Draws.
I first sold my Rebellion Reward Gold cards to increase the amount of GLINT in my possession.
I purchased 3 Epic Draw for which I spent 22500 GLINT.
For the Epic Draws I used 3 Alchemy Potions but could not find any Gold cards.
Thanks to the cards I found in the draws I opened today I made progress in upgrading Rebellion Soulbound cards:
- Common cards: 60% -> 68%
- Rare cards: 41% -> 48%
- Epic cards: 0% -> 1%
In the current season my seasonal goals are:
- play at least 360 battles
- make it to the Diamond I league
- earn at least 160K Glint
Before concluding this post I want to show some positive signs regarding Splinterlands assets.
The DEC token even though it has not reached its peg is maintaining a good value: $0.83.
The SPS token is very close to its highest value reached in 60 days.
The purchase offers in the Auctions to date have always exceeded one million DEC tokens and it is a really good result that the top-level Gold copy of HELOISE THE HOLLOW was purchased for 14 million DEC = $11620!!!
I will end this post by also showing my last battle played in Modern Format to show those who have never played on Splinterlands how good and fun this game is (in Modern Format).

La mia attività di gioco nel formato Moderno + Inizio ad usare XBOT nel formato Wild
Gioco su Splinterlands dal settembre 2019, ho giocato più di 37K battaglie senza usare bots perchè Splinterlands è un bel gioco con un gameplay divertente e strutturato e perchè semplicemente mi diverto a giocare nel Modern Format dove ci sono solo giocatori umani come me.
A partire da oggi e per la prima volta inizierò ad utilizzare un bot nel Wild Format.
Mi piacerebbe raddoppiare la mia attività di gioco manuale giocando nel Modern Format e anche nel Wild Format ma non posso farlo perchè nel Wild Format ci sono tanti bots e io non mi diverto a giocare contro bots più efficienti di me.
Potevo scegliere di utilizzare un bot con il mio account principale ma ho scelto di dividere l'attività di gioco e a partire da oggi:
- giocherò nel Modern Format con @libertycrypto27 e continuerò a giocare avendo come obiettivo principale il divertimento.
- sarò un investitore nel Wild Format in cui utilizzerò il mio curation account per i token SPT (@libertygame27) e gestirò le mie old cards utilizzando un bot per ottenere l'unico divertimento possibile in un "idle game": il profitto
Secondo me la divisione delle modalità di gioco ranked dovrebbe essere:
- Modern Format for human players
- Wild Format for human players
- Bot Format for bots and human players
Se esistesse questa divisione giocherei manualmente anche con le mie old cards ma nell'attuale divisione un giocatore umano come me è quasi "obbligato ad usare un bot" per utilizzare le sue old cards.
Non ho ancora effettuato la scelta definitiva su quale bot usare nel Wild Format tra:
- XBOT (https://xbot.app/home)
- ARCHMAGE (https://archmage.app/)
Effettuerò questa scelta tra 7 giorni perchè ho deciso di utilizzare la prova gratuita di 7 giorni di XBOT.
Come operazioni preliminari prima di iniziare la prova gratuita di XBOT:
- ho delegato tutte le mie old cards (tranne le doppie copie) a @libertygame27
- ho delegato 30K SPS a @libertygame27
- ho trasferito 2000 DEC a libertygame27 e ho acquistato il Wild Pass.
Con libertygame27 partirò giocando nelle lega DIAMOND III del Wild Format perchè tempo fa avevo fatto un test giocando manualmente nel Wild Format e avevo concluso la stagione in questa lega.
Inizierò con una delega di 30K SPS e valuterò se aumentarla o diminuirla in base ai guadagni in SPS che otterrò nel Wild Format nella stagione appena iniziata.
Il mio metro di valutazione per la gestione dei miei token SPS tra i due accounts sarà il confronto a fine stagione con il quantitativo di SPS che ho guadagnato giocando nell'ultima stagione conclusa nel Modern Format.
Per iniziare la prova gratuita di XBOT sono andato su https://xbot.app/home e ho effettuato il sign in.
Poi ho cliccato su Keychain per connettere @libertygame27 a XBOT
Poi ho cliccato su Keys e nella schermata successiva ho inserito la posting key
Poi ho cliccato su Config dove ci sono tante opzioni tra cui scegliere.
Io ho lasciato le opzioni di default.
L'ultima operazione di setup che ho effettuato è stata di cliccare su Active per cambiare lo status di Next Session da Pending ad Active.
Adesso devo solo aspettare che il bot inizi a giocare per me.
Per quanto riguarda la mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi nel Modern Format, nell'ultima stagione conclusa ho giocato 265 battaglie vincendone 129.
Il mio win rate è peggiorato rispetto alla stagione precedente: -2.69%
Ho iniziato la nuova stagione in lega Gold I con 143K GLINT da spendere nel Glint Shop.
Ho speso 60K Glint per acquistare 400 Common Draw
Grazie alle carte che ho trovato nei 400 Common Draw adesso ho 11 carte Rebellion reward common soulbound di livello 8 e Chaos Evoker di livello 9.

Con l'aumentare del livello le mie carte Rebellion Reward iniziano ad essere interessanti e potenzialmente utili in battaglia.
In questo inizio di stagione ho iniziato ad acquistare anche gli Epic Draws.
Ho prima venduto le mie carte Rebellion Reward Gold per aumentare il quantitativo di GLINT in mio possesso.
Ho acquistato 3 Epic Draw per cui ho speso 22500 GLINT.
Per gli Epic Draws ho utilizzato 3 Alchemy Potions ma non ho trovato carte Gold.
Grazie alle carte che ho trovato nei draws che ho aperto oggi ho fatto dei progressi nell'upgrade delle carte Rebellion Soulbound:
- Common cards: 60% -> 68%
- Rare cards: 41% -> 48%
- Epic cards: 0% -> 1%
Nella stagione in corso i miei obiettivi stagionali sono:
- giocare almeno 360 battaglie
- arrivare in lega Diamond I

Prima di concludere questo post voglio mostrare alcuni segnali positivi che riguardano gli assets di Splinterlands.
Il token DEC anche se non ha raggiunto il suo peg sta mantenendo un buon valore: 0.83$.
Il token SPS è molto vicino al valore massimo raggiunto in 60 giorni.
Le offerte di acquisto nelle Auctions fino ad oggi hanno sempre superato il milione di token DEC ed è un risultato davvero positivo che la copia Gold di massimo livello di HELOISE THE HOLLOW è stata acquistata per 14 milioni di DEC = 11620$!.
Concludo questo post mostrando anche la mia ultima battaglia giocata nel Modern Format per mostrare a chi non ha mai giocato su Splinterlands quanto è bello e divertente questo gioco (nel Modern Format).
