PGM token: Use Cases, Value and Considerations, My Goals and my PGM Power UP
Hive is my favorite blockchain project and my goal on Hive is to grow as fast as possible by increasing the amount of Hive Power (HP).
On Hive in addition to HIVE, HBD and HP tokens there are also second level tokens that can be accumulated using specific tags and/or can be bought, sold and staked within the wallet section of various Dex such as TribalDex, HiveEngine, LeoDex, ...
As with the HIVE and HP tokens, I have also set accumulation and growth goals for some second-level tokens on the Hive blockchain, and among these tokens is the Play Gamer (PGM) token.
The PGM token is the token created by @zottone444 and is a token that has several use cases:
- it is a tip token that can be used to reward another Hive user with 5 different tokens by writing the !PGM command within a comment to a post or within a reply to a comment.
- is a token that can be put into stake and can be gained:
- by using the tag pgm in a post whose topic is about videogames.
- voting on a post that has the tag pgm.
- voting a comment written under a post that has the tag pgm.
The reward split between the author of the post/comment and the curator (the person who votes for the post) is 50%/50% and depends on the amount of PGM tokens staked (PGM Power) by the users who vote for the post or who vote for the comment at the time the voting takes place.
- is a token that can be spent to receive an upvote on a post using the PGM Boost feature from the front end: https://pgmshare.com/#.
Note: Voting is not immediate and is not guaranteed because the curation activity is manual and posts that do not have a minimum of quality and engagement will not be voted on.
In the following image you can see the graph showing the trend in the value of the PGM token during the time period May 5, 2022 - August 3, 2022.
Today August 3, 2022 1 PGM token has a value of:
- 0.03590000 SWAP.HIVE = 0.0211801$ (Highest BID)
- 0.04299900 SWAP.HIVE = 0.0253683$ (Lowest Ask)
The last time I checked the value of the PGM token was June 23, 2022, and in the following image you can see the difference in value in SWAP.HIVE and in dollars of the PGM token (Highest BID) in the time interval June 23 - today August 3, 2022.
Even though today I am registering a decrease in dollar value of -19.53% I continue to accumulate PGM tokens and even set a goal to reach 20000 PGM staked!
I have really liked the inventiveness and passion that @zottone444 has put into his project so far and that is why I will continue to support this project by continuing to stake the PGM tokens I earn.
To speed up the achievement of my accumulation goal (20k PGMs) I have recently started trading operations on the PGM tokens:
- I opened three buy orders (BIDs) for a total of 200 PGM tokens.
- I opened two sell orders for the same amount of tokens (200 PGM).
My first buy order has been completed and I am waiting to see if the sell orders will also be completed in the next few days.
If my small trading activity makes a profit I will use that profit in the following way:
- 50% to make POWER UP and increase my Hive Power on Hive.
- 50% to buy PGM tokens.
To date I have accumulated a total of 8193 PGM:
- 972 liquid PGMs
- 7220.64 staked PGMs
The current value of the 8193 PGM tokens in my possession is 294.13 HIVE = $117.07 (Highest BID).
With more than 5000 PGM tokens in stake I have a good advantage: I can send 15 !PGM commands per day.
The user who receives my comment receives:
- 0.1 PGM
- 0.1 LVL
- 1 STARBITS
- 0.05 DEC
- 15 SBT
I who send the command and have more than 5000 PGM in stake receive:
- 0.2 PGM
- 0.2 LVL
- 2 STARBITS
- 0.1 DEC
- 30 SBT
- 0.00000002 SWAP.BTC
Those who read my posts know that I like to do calculations and so I calculated the value of the reward I send and receive when I use the !PGM command.
Based on the Highest Bid value of the tokens I listed above each time I send the !PGM command I send a total value of 0.00408 HIVE = $0.00240
I, on the other hand, for each !PGM command sent, receive a total value of 0.01522 HIVE = 0.00897$
If I send all 15 commands I have available each day, I receive a total value of 0.22837 HIVE = 0.13451$
I really like the PGM token tip feature because it incentivizes interaction on the Hive blockchain.
Reading other authors' posts, writing comments, and interacting are critical activities for those who want to grow on Hive!

I gladly participate in this initiative and even though the minimum participation requirement is a Power Up of 50 PGMs I decided to power up all my liquid PGM tokens.

PGM token: Valore e Considerazioni, I miei obiettivi e il mio PGM Power UP
Hive è il mio progetto blockchain preferito e il mio obiettivo su Hive è di crescere il più velocemente possibile incrementando il quantitativo di Hive Power (HP) in mio possesso.
Su Hive oltre ai token HIVE, HBD e HP ci sono anche i token di secondo livello che possono essere accumulati utilizzando tag specifici e/o possono essere acquistati, venduti e messi in stake all'interno della sezione wallet di vari Dex come ad esempio TribalDex, HiveEngine, LeoDex, ...
Come per i token HIVE e HP anche per alcuni token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive ho fissato degli obiettivi di accumulo e di crescita e fra questi token c'è il token Play Gamer (PGM).
Il token PGM è il token creato da @zottone444 e ha diversi casi d'uso:
- è un tip token che può essere utilizzato per ricompensare un'altro utente di Hive con 5 token diversi tramite la scrittura del comando !PGM all'interno di un commento ad un post o all'interno di una risposta ad un commento.
- è un token che può essere messo in stake e può essere guadagnato:
- utilizzando il tag pgm in un post il cui argomento riguarda il mondo dei videogames
- votando un post che ha il tag pgm
- votando un commento scritto sotto un post che ha il tag pgm
La suddivisione della ricompensa tra autore del post/commento e il curatore (chi vota il post) è 50%/50% e dipende dal quantitativo di token PGM messi in stake (PGM Power) dagli utenti che votano il post o che votano il commento al momento in cui avviene il voto.
- è un token che può essere speso per ricevere un upvote su un post utilizzando la funzionalità PGM Boost dal front end https://pgmshare.com/#.
Nota: il voto non è immediato e non è garantito perchè l'attività di curation è manuale e i post che non hanno un minimo di qualità e un minimo di impegno non saranno votati.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il grafico che mostra l'andamento del valore del token PGM nel periodo di tempo 5 maggio 2022 - 3 agosto 2022.
Oggi 3 agosto 2022 1 PGM token ha un valore di:

L'ultima volta che ho controllato il valore del token PGM era il 23 giugno 2022 e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere la differenza di valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari del token PGM (Highest BID) nell'intervallo di tempo 23 giugno - oggi 3 agosto 2022.
Anche se oggi registro una diminuzione di valore in dollari del -19.53% continuo ad accumulare i token PGM e ho anche fissato un obiettivo da raggiungere 20000 PGM staked!
Mi è piaciuta molto l'inventiva e la passione che @zottone444 ha messo nel suo progetto fino ad ora e per questo motivo continuerò a supportare questo progetto continuando a mettere in stake i token PGM che guadegnerò.
Per velocizzare il raggiungimento del mio obiettivo di accumulo (20k PGM) ho iniziato da poco tempo a fare delle operazioni di trading sui token PGM:
- ho aperto tre ordini di acquisto (BID) per un totale di 200 PGM token.
- ho aperto due ordini di vendita per lo stesso ammontare di token (200 PGM).
Il mio primo ordine di acquisto è stato completato e sono in attesa di vedere se anche gli ordini di vendita verranno completati nei prossimi giorni.
Se la mia piccola attività di trading realizzerà un profitto utilizzerò tale profitto nel seguente modo:
- 50% per fare POWER UP e aumentare il mio Hive Power su Hive
- 50% per comprare i token PGM
Fino ad oggi ho accumulato un totale di 8193 PGM:
- 972 PGM liquidi
- 7220.64 PGM staked
Il valore attuale degli 8193 token PGM in mio possesso è di 294.13 HIVE = 117.07$ (Highest BID).
Con un quantitativo superiore a 5000 token PGM in stake ho un buon vantaggio: posso inviare 15 comandi !PGM al giorno.
L'utente che riceve il mio commento riceve:
- 0.1 PGM
- 0.1 LVL
- 1 STARBITS
- 0.05 DEC
- 15 SBT
Io che invio il comando e che ho più di 5000 PGM in stake ricevo:

Chi legge i miei post sa che mi piace fare calcoli e così ho calcolato il valore della ricompensa che invio e che ricevo quando utilizzo il comando !PGM.
In base al valore Highest Bid dei token che ho elencato sopra ogni volta che invio il comando !PGM invio un valore totale di 0.00408 HIVE = 0.00240$
Io invece, per ogni comando !PGM inviato, ricevo un valore totale di 0.01522 HIVE = 0.00897$
Se invio tutti e 15 i comandi che ho a disposizione ogni giorno ricevo un valore totale di 0.22837 HIVE = 0.13451$
La funzione tip del token PGM mi piace molto perchè incentiva l'interazione sulla blockchain di Hive.
Leggere i post degli altri autori, scrivere commenti e interagire sono attività di fondamentale importanza per chi vuole crescere su Hive!
