Buongiorno a tutti e ben ritrovati
In questo mio tentativo di ritornare ad essere più presente su questa piattaforma, e all'interno di questa comunità, dopo un'assenza durata anche fin troppo, eccomi ritornare, anche quest'oggi, con questo mio nuovo articolo dedicato a quel contest, chiamato "Unto & Bisunto", che settimana scorsa ha ridato il via alla mia passione di scrivere su queste pagine.
È stata proprio l'edizione precedente, infatti, che ha dato il la di partenza a questa mia rinnovata avventura sulle pagine di Peakd, che onestamente mi sono mancate e, di conseguenza, mi auguro che non sia solo un fuoco di paglia, ma che mi riesca di prendere l'abitudine da portare avanti nel tempo.
L'argomento di questa settimana, per partecipare al contest di cui sopra, riguarda gli errori commessi nella propria vita e le elezioni che abbiamo imparato dagli stessi, e credo che, più o meno, ognuno di noi abbia un bel elenco dei suddetti, visto che, fondamentalmente, è proprio da questi ultimi che impariamo le lezioni più importanti delle nostre vite.
Personalmente direi che il mio è decisamente piuttosto lungo, e spazia nei settori più disparati che possono passare dall'amore agli amici, dal lavoro alla famiglia, e mille altri ancora.
Sceglierne, quindi, uno particolare di cui andare a trattare, non è poi nemmeno così facile, visto che, comunque, se ce li ricordiamo tutti quanti, significa che in qualche modo ci hanno segnato.
Tra quelli che potrei citare, ad esempio, quello di quando, fidandomi di un amico, e di una sua proposta, ho finito col rimanere truffato, per una cifra anche abbastanza consistente, ritrovandomi coinvolto in uno "schema di Ponzi", che ovviamente ha finito col fare il botto, facendomi perdere i miei soldi assieme a molti altri utenti.
Se inizialmente la cosa mi ha, ovviamente, traumatizzato la lezione che ho imparato è stata, non solo quella di scindere l'amicizia dalle proposte di affari e/o investimento, ma soprattutto quella di non investire in qualcosa senza avere la benché minima conoscenza del settore che si va ad affrontare, così da non essere in grado di valutare, con attenzione, quello che si sta facendo.
Da lì in poi, ho iniziato una formazione continua, che non è mai cessata, per quanto riguarda il mondo del denaro e degli investimenti in ogni loro possibile sfaccettatura, cosa che mi ha consentito, in seguto, di partecipare ad ottime opportunità, che mi hanno fatto rientrare di quanto ho perso, ma soprattutto di avere, oggi, determinate conoscenze che reputo fondamentali in questo settore, anche se non si finisce mai di imparare, oltre ad avermi consentito di conoscere un nutrito gruppo di persone, imprenditori ed investitori, all'interno del quale sono nate amicizie importanti ed opportunità di business.
Per quanto riguarda poi gli errori nel campo affettivo, tra amici, famiglia ed ex compagne, l'elenco sarebbe forse troppo lungo, ma, soprattutto, non è questo l'argomento che voglio trattare, dal quale, anzi, mi sto già distraenda anche fin troppo dilungandomi su altre cose.
Il protagonista di questo mio post, infatti, è un errore nel campo del lavoro, che ho portato avanti per anche fin troppo tempo, per il cosiddetto "quieto vivere" arrivando ad avere anche delle conseguenze piuttosto pesanti sia per la mia salute, che per la mia famiglia, che ho rischiato di perdere.
Mi sto riferendo, e credo che chi mi conosce da un po' abbia già immaginato a cosa mi sto riferendo, alla ultima situazione lavorativa che ho affrontato, e che è terminata ad aprile dell'anno scorso, con il mio licenziamento, e relativa "buona uscita", dopo un accordo trovato tra le parti, che mi aveva portato a soffrire di una forma, seppure iniziale, di depressione, a causa di un ambiente malsano, creato da un "padrone", e in questo caso il termine è adatto, che approfittava un po' troppo della sua situazione, e mi aveva preso di mira con veri e propri dispetti e maltrattamenti.
Il culmine è arrivato quando sono stato vittima di un infortunio sul lavoro e, cadendo da una scala non a norma, e traballante, mi sono fatto parecchio male, frantumandomi il polso della mano destra, ma in realtà devo ringraziare la mia buona stella perché avrei potuto fare una fine ben peggiore, e forse sono anche fortunato ad essere qua a raccontarvi questa storia.
In quell'occasione, infatti, il "simpaticissimo personaggio" col quale avevo a che fare quotidianamente, col quale i rapporti erano già deteriorti da tempo, dopo aver inizialmente tentato, in ogni modo, di convincermi ad andare a casa senza ricorrere a un'ambulanza, per evitare la pratica di infortunio, e quindi i relativi controlli, ad un mio rifiuto di accettare questa situazione, anche perché mi era fatto seriamente male, una volta che io sono stato soccorso, e portato in ospedale per i controlli del caso, ha pensato bene di nascondere le prove di quanto era successo sostituendo la scala dalla quale ero caduto con una a norma di legge.
Nei giorni successivi è iniziata una situazione assurda, nella quale ha tentato di farmi passare per uno che si era inventato tutto, ma fortunatamente chi ha eseguito i controlli del caso ha capito subito che c'era puzza di bruciato, e alla fine è stato costretto a ritrattare per non ritrovarsi in guai ancora peggiori.
Dopo quattro mesi di convalescenza, sono poi rientrato al lavoro, e da lì in poi le cose sono precipitate, visto che, non solo sono stato demansionato, e da responsabile del magazzino, alla guida del reparto, mi sono ritrovato ad essere l'ultima ruota del carro, ma sono stato sottoposto a continue angherie, e veri e propri dispetti, nel tentativo di far sì che io decidessi di andarmene, visto che, a seguito dei controlli scattati dopo l'incidente che mi ha visto coinvolto, io ero costato caro all'azienda, che aveva preso una bella multa visto tutte le cose non in regola che erano state scoperte, e che in realtà erano solo una parte.
Ma qual'è, alla fine, l'errore del quale vi volevo parlare, e la lezione che ne ho imparato, che ancora non ho affrontato dilungandomi, forse anche fin troppo, nel mio racconto?!?
Dal mio punto di vista è stato quello di sopportare una situazione del genere anche per fin troppo tempo, visto che è andata avanti per degli anni, consentendo ad una persona ignorante, arrogante, e prepotente, come quella con cui avevo a che fare, di mettermi in piedi in testa, solo ed esclusivamente per una situazione di comodo che mi consentiva di portare a casa uno stipendio e badare alla mia famiglia.
Purtroppo mi rendo conto che questa situazione, probabilmente, viene affrontata, ogni santo giorno, da mille altre persone che lavorano in ambienti simili, ma personalmente sono arrivato a rendermi conto che questa non è vita, e che tutto ciò non è giusto, visto che, se è vero che uno stipendio, o comunque una fonte di sostentamento, è fondamentalmente necessaria, non si può neanche gettare via la propria vita, e sopportare certe situazioni, come ho fatto io per un periodo di tempo così prolungato, perché, comunque, tutto ciò porta, inevitabilmente, ad affrontare altre conseguenze.
Se da un lato, infatti, in questo modo riuscivo a badare alla mia famiglia, con uno stipendio mensile, è altresì vero che stavo per rovinarla, portandomi a casa scazzi e nervosismi del lavoro che avevano iniziato a farmi soffrire di una depressione che io sfogavo, inevitabilmente, con le prime persone che mi trovavo davanti, ovvero mia moglie e mia figlia, completamente incolpevoli della situazione che stavo vivendo, rischiando di mandare tutto a puttane.
Il segnale di allarme che stavo superando i limiti, mi è arrivato direttamente dalla prima di cui sopra che, dopo aver sopportato secondo me anche fin troppo, una sera, dopo una mia sfuriata eccessiva, mi ha preso da parte e mi ha detto, chiaro e tondo, che le cose stavano prendendo una piega che avrebbe portato ad un problema decisamente serio se le cose fossero continuate in questo modo.
Questa è stata la molla, anche piuttosto dolorosa, che mi ha fatto prendere la decisione che, ad aprile dell'anno scorso, mi ha fatto affrontare il mio datore di lavoro e, forte del processo penale al quale avremmo dovuto presentarci entrambi, per chiarire la questione, e nel quale avrei potuto presentarmi come parte civile, chiedendo ovviamente i danni del caso, ho chiesto una risoluzione consensuale del mio contratto di lavoro, con licenziamento da parte della ditta, così da poter prendere la disoccupazione, o Naspi che dir si voglia, per due anni, ed una cospicua buona uscita per tacere sulla realtà di quanto accaduto, pur di non portare ulteriormente avanti una situazione ormai sostenibile.
So che non è affatto facile arrivare a prendere una decisione di questo genere, e ammetto che forse io, in quel momento, avevo anche delle buone carte in mano per prenderla con una maggiore leggerezza, ma invito chiunque si trovi a vivere una situazione simile alla mia a mettere ogni cosa su un piatto della bilancia, perché potrebbe rendersi conto che la sicurezza data da uno stipendio mensile, a volte potrebbe non valere la pena di portare avanti situazioni che potrebbero letteralmente distruggere la propria vita, la propria serenità, ed anche la propria famiglia.
Con questo mio racconto non voglio fare la parte della vittima, tipo piccola fiammiferaia, ma semplicemente cercare di far aprire gli occhi a chiunque si trovi a vivere situazioni simili, essendoci passato, nella speranza che possa farli riflettere rendendosi conto che, e questa è la lezione che ho imparato, non ci si può far trattare come pezze da culo, perdendo anche il rispetto per se stessi, solo per portare avanti "situazioni di comodo", perchè non ne vale mai la pena e, soprattutto, si rischiano consegenze che potrebbero riservarci situazioni ben peggiori di quella che crediamo di aver rimediato accetando simili compromessi.
So che è più facile a dirsi che a farsi, anche perchè ognuno vive situazioni e realtà completamente diverse le une dalle altre, ma fatevi un favore e, se vi trovate ad affrontare situazioni che vi possano ricordare quella da me vissuta, fermatevi un attimo e valutate con attenzione se vale realmente la pena continuare per quella strada che state affrontando o se non sia il caso, per quanto possa essere rischioso, e spaventarvi, di prendere in mano il timone della vostra vita e cambiare rotta.

In this attempt of mine to return to be more present on this platform, and within this community, after an absence that lasted far too long, here I am again, even today, with this new article of mine dedicated to that contest, called "Unto & Bisunto", which last week rekindled my passion for writing on these pages.
It was the previous edition, in fact, that gave the starting signal to this renewed adventure of mine on the pages of Peakd, which I honestly missed and, consequently, I hope that it is not just a flash in the pan, but that I can get into the habit to carry on over time.
This week's topic, to participate in the contest above, concerns the mistakes made in one's life and the elections that we have learned from them, and I believe that, more or less, each of us has a nice list of the aforementioned, since, fundamentally, it is precisely from these that we learn the most important lessons of our lives.
Personally, I would say that mine is definitely quite long, and ranges across the most disparate sectors that can go from love to friends, from work to family, and a thousand others.
Choosing, therefore, a particular one to deal with, is not even that easy, since, in any case, if we remember them all, it means that in some way they have marked us.
Among those that I could mention, for example, the one of when, trusting a friend, and his proposal, I ended up being scammed, for a fairly substantial amount, finding myself involved in a "Ponzi scheme", which obviously ended up going viral, making me lose my money along with many other users.
If initially it obviously traumatized me, the lesson I learned was not only to separate friendship from business and/or investment proposals, but above all to not invest in something without having the slightest knowledge of the sector you are going to tackle, so as not to be able to carefully evaluate what you are doing.
From then on, I began a continuous training, which has never stopped, regarding the world of money and investments in all their possible facets, which has allowed me, later, to participate in excellent opportunities, which have made me recover what I lost, but above all to have, today, certain knowledge that I consider fundamental in this sector, even if you never stop learning, in addition to having allowed me to meet a large group of people, entrepreneurs and investors, within which important friendships and business opportunities were born.
As for mistakes in the emotional field, between friends, family and ex-partners, the list would perhaps be too long, but, above all, this is not the topic I want to discuss, from which, in fact, I am already distracting myself even too much by dwelling on other things.
The protagonist of this post of mine, in fact, is a mistake in the field of work, which I have carried on for even too long, for the so-called "quiet life" arriving at having also rather heavy consequences both for my health, and for my family, which I risked losing.
I am referring, and I think that those who have known me for a while have already imagined what I am referring to, to the last work situation I faced, and which ended in April of last year, with my dismissal, and relative "severance pay", after an agreement reached between the parties, which had led me to suffer from a form, albeit initial, of depression, due to an unhealthy environment, created by a "boss", and in this case the term is appropriate, who took advantage of his situation a little too much, and had targeted me with real spite and mistreatment.
The climax came when I was the victim of an accident at work and, falling from a non-compliant and rickety ladder, I hurt myself badly, shattering the wrist of my right hand, but in reality I have to thank my lucky stars because I could have had a much worse end, and perhaps I am also lucky to be here to tell you this story.
On that occasion, in fact, the "very nice character" with whom I dealt daily, with whom the relationship had already deteriorated for some time, after initially trying, in every way, to convince me to go home without resorting to an ambulance, to avoid the accident claim, and therefore the related checks, to my refusal to accept this situation, also because I had seriously hurt myself, once I had been rescued, and taken to the hospital for the necessary checks, he thought it best to hide the evidence of what had happened by replacing the ladder from which I had fallen with a legal one.
In the following days an absurd situation began, in which he tried to make me pass for someone who had made everything up, but fortunately whoever carried out the necessary checks immediately understood that there was a smell of fish, and in the end he was forced to recant so as not to find himself in even worse trouble.
After four months of convalescence, I then returned to work, and from there on things got worse, since, not only was I demoted, and from warehouse manager, to the head of the department, I found myself at the bottom of the wagon, but I was subjected to constant bullying, and real teasing, in an attempt to make me decide to leave, since, following the checks carried out after the accident in which I was involved, I had cost the company dearly, which had received a nice fine given all the irregularities that had been discovered, and which in reality were only a part.
But what is, in the end, the mistake I wanted to tell you about, and the lesson I learned from it, which I have not yet addressed by going on, perhaps even too long, in my story?!?
From my point of view, it was to endure a situation like that for far too long, since it went on for years, allowing an ignorant, arrogant, and overbearing person, like the one I was dealing with, to stand on my head, only and exclusively for a convenient situation that allowed me to bring home a salary and take care of my family.
Unfortunately, I realize that this situation is probably faced, every single day, by a thousand other people who work in similar environments, but personally I have come to realize that this is not life, and that all of this is not right, since, if it is true that a salary, or in any case a source of sustenance, is fundamentally necessary, you can't even throw your life away, and endure certain situations, as I did for such a long period of time, because, in any case, all of this inevitably leads to facing other consequences.
While on the one hand, in fact, in this way I was able to take care of my family, with a monthly salary, it is also true that I was about to ruin it, bringing home the annoyances and nerves from work that had started to make me suffer from a depression that I vented, inevitably, with the first people I found in front of me, namely my wife and my daughter, completely blameless for the situation I was experiencing, risking sending everything to hell.
The warning sign that I was going beyond the limits, came to me directly from the first one mentioned above who, after having put up with, in my opinion, even too much, one evening, after an excessive outburst of mine, took me aside and told me, clearly and bluntly, that things were taking a turn that would lead to a decidedly serious problem if things continued this way.
This was the spring, also rather painful, that made me take the decision that, in April of last year, made me face my employer and, strong in the criminal trial to which we both should have appeared, to clarify the issue, and in which I could have appeared as a civil party, obviously asking for damages of the case, I asked for a consensual termination of my employment contract, with dismissal by the company, so as to be able to receive unemployment, or Naspi as you want to call it, for two years, and a substantial severance pay to keep quiet about the reality of what happened, rather than further prolong a situation that was now sustainable.
I know that it is not easy at all to reach a decision of this kind, and I admit that perhaps I, at that moment, also had some good cards in hand to take it more lightly, but I invite anyone who finds themselves living a situation similar to mine to put everything on one side of the scale, because they might realize that the security given by a monthly salary, sometimes it might not be worth carrying on situations that could literally destroy their life, their serenity, and even their family.
With this story of mine I do not want to play the victim, like the little match girl, but simply try to open the eyes of anyone who finds themselves living similar situations, having been there, in the hope that it can make them reflect, realizing that, and this is the lesson I learned, you cannot let yourself be treated like a piece of shit, even losing respect for yourself, just to carry on "convenient situations", because it is never worth it and, above all, you risk consequences that could reserve us situations much worse than the one we believe we have remedied by accepting similar compromises.
I know it is easier said than done, also because everyone lives situations and realities completely different from each other, but do yourself a favor and, if you find yourself facing situations that can remind you of the one I experienced, stop for a moment and carefully evaluate whether it is really worth continuing on that path you are facing or whether it is not the case, as risky as it may be, and scary, to take the helm of your life and change course.
