Un saluto a tutti,
oggi ho deciso di partire da una citazione di Walt Disney:
Se puoi sognarlo, puoi farlo!
Quando si decide di intraprendere una nuova iniziativa o una nuova esperienza, la cosa fondamentale è crederci.
Quello che decidiamo di fare e come verrà fatto non può prescindere da questa semplice evidenza.
L'essere umano è infatti capace di raggiungere traguardi neanche lontanamente immaginabili e l'unica cosa che gli permette di farlo è una profonda convinzione che quello che sta facendo è importante.. ma soprattutto è realizzabile.
Essere motivati nel raggiungere un obiettivo è di per se aver già coperto metà della strada che ci separa dallo stesso.
Questi sono concetti semplici ma che troppo spesso vengono dimenticati a favore di altri completamente opposti che incidono negativamente sul raggiungimento della meta.
La motivazione è tutto e non importa quanto duro sarà il percorso per realizzare i nostri sogni, la soddisfazione che proveremo una volta che li renderemo reali cancellerà ogni sforzo e ci lascerà solo una grande, immensa soddisfazione.
E non sto parlando a vanvera, io ho stravolto la mia vita e la mia posizione lavorativa stabile per raggiungere un sogno, che con impegno e motivazione ho realizzato: l'essere indipendente e senza nessun capo che mi dica cosa fare.
Per rendere questi concetti ancora più tangibili vorrei farvi l'esempio di Alex Zanardi, sfortunato protagonista nei giorni scorsi di un incidente per le cui conseguenze oggi lotta tra la vita e la morte.
Ma sono sicuro che anche questa volta riuscirà a beffare la morte, perchè è un lottatore che non si arrende mai!
Lui per me rappresenta l'emblema dei concetti che sto esprimendo in questo articolo.
Per comprenderlo basta dare uno sguardo alla sua vita..
Poliedrico campione mondiale in varie discipline, è sicuramente conosciuto per i suoi esordi nell'Automobilismo: pilota della Jordan, della Minardi, della Lotus e infine della Williams in F1 ma anche per le sue grandi permformance nella Formula CART, alternata anche alla stessa F1.
E' proprio nella CART che il 15 settembre 2001 la sua vita cambiò drasticamente.
Nella gara del Lausitzring nella quale Zanardi correva per il team di Mo Nunn, a tredici giri dalla fine uscendo dalla corsia dei box, il pilota bolognese perse il controllo della sua vettura e dopo un testacoda completo si fermò di traverso lungo la pista proprio sulla linea di corsa e fu dapprima evitato dal pilota Patrick Carpentier e successivamente centrato in pieno da Alex Tagliani che non potè fare nulla per evitare lo scontro. La sua vettura divise letteralmente a metà la Reynard Honda di Zanardi tranciandogli di netto entrambe le gambe.
Zanardi rischiò di morire per dissanguamento e ricevette addirittura l'estrema unzione in pista mentre i soccorsi cercavano di salvarlo, in quanto le sue condizioni apparvero sin da subito disperate. Alcune testate giornalistiche lo diedero già per morto.
Solo grazie al pronto intervento di Steve Olvey, capo dell'equipe medica della CART, che riuscì a fermare l'emorragia, Zanardì riuscì a raggiungere l'ospedale di Berlino in elisoccorso dove restò in coma per diversi giorni prima di riprendersi ed essere dichiarato fuori pericolo di vita. Un autentico mircacolo.
Chiunque avrebbe mollato, sarebbe stato travolto dallo sconforto a causa della perdita di entrambe le gambe, soprattutto la cosa poteva essere devastante per uno sportivo come lui perchè gli arti inferiori rappresentavano lo strumento del suo successo.
Ma qui accadde qualcosa di incredibile e unico che rese Zanardi il simbolo della determinazione e forza d'animo.
Il pilota non solo non si è mai arreso al suo Handicap, ma lo ha trasformato nella sua forza, diventando l'icona di come una persona con una forte motivazione potesse rendere possibile raggiungere qualsiasi obiettivo.
Il pilota ha sempre ironizzato sul proprio handicap ed è successivamente tornato alle gare automobilistiche, per poi decidere di concentrarsi su discipline che mettessero in evidenza quanto una menomazione fisica non dovesse necessariamente rappresentare un ostacolo a meno di non volerlo considerare tale.
Diventando un autentico campione di Paraciclismo conquistando 4 ori e due argenti alle Paraolimpiadi e otto titoli dei campionati mondiali su strada.
Vi ho voluto portare il suo esempio perchè incarna alla perfezione il binomio motivazione e obiettivo.
Per lui sarebbe stato facile arrendersi e vivere in disparte la sua nuova condizione, anche alla luce dei soldi che sicuramente non rappresentavano un problema per lui.
Invece ha deciso di dimostrare che le uniche barriere che un essere umano non può superare sono quelle che lui stesso immagina come tali.
Tutto questo discorso vuole portare a un punto ben preciso, che poi è una mia sensazione riguardo a molti utenti che affollano Hive: la mancanza di motivazione per progredire, diffondere e far parte realmente della rivoluzione chiamata HIVE.
Lo so, potrò sembrarvi ripetitivo e quasi esaltato, ma io sono sicuro che le blockchain e le criptovalute rappresentino il futuro e quanto vicino esso debba essere saremo solo noi a deciderlo con le nostre azioni.
Circoscrivendo il discorso ai miei connazionali, vedo molta rassegnazione e mancanza di motivazione nel credere nel progetto e nel cercare di portare nuovi utenti italiani in Hive.
Spero che questo sia derivante delle esperienze negative vissute in Steem o dai fallimenti precedenti di organizzarsi come comunità italiana, ma non credo che sia l'atteggiamento più produttivo per cercare di cambiare le cose.
Mi rendo conto che ognuno di noi ha i propri impegni lavorativi e familiari, ma con un pò di organizzazione è possibile impegare al meglio il poco tempo a disposizione, superando questo ostacolo.
Quello a cui non si può porre rimedio in alcun modo è la mancanza di motivazione che secondo me è sintomo del non crederci fino in fondo e non avere una visione.

To be motivated to achieve a goal is in itself to have already covered half the road that separates us from it.
These are simple concepts but all too often forgotten in favour of other completely opposite concepts that negatively affect the achievement of the goal.
Motivation is everything and no matter how hard the path to making our dreams come true, the satisfaction we feel once we make them real will erase any effort and leave us with nothing but great, immense satisfaction.
And I'm not talking nonsense, I have turned my life and my stable job position upside down to achieve a dream, which I have realized with commitment and motivation: being independent and without any boss telling me what to do.
To make these concepts even more tangible I would like to give you the example of Alex Zanardi, unfortunate protagonist in recent days of an accident whose consequences today struggle between life and death.
But I am sure that this time too he will succeed in mocking death, because he is a fighter who never gives up!
He represents for me the emblem of the concepts I'm expressing in this article.
To understand him, you only have to look at his life...
Polyhedric world champion in various disciplines, he is surely known for his debut in the motor racing: driver of Jordan, Minardi, Lotus and finally of Williams in F1 but also for his great permformances in the Formula CART, alternated also to the F1 itself.
It was in the CART that his life changed drastically on 15th September 2001.
In the Lausitzring race in which Zanardi raced for Mo Nunn's team, thirteen laps from the end leaving the pit lane, the Bolognese driver lost control of his car and after a complete spin he stopped sideways along the track just on the racing line and was first avoided by the driver Patrick Carpentier and then hit in full by Alex Tagliani who couldn't do anything to avoid the collision. His car literally split Zanardi's Reynard Honda in half and severed both his legs.
Zanardi risked to die from bleeding to death and even received the extreme unction on the track while the rescuers were trying to save him, as his condition immediately appeared desperate. Some newspapers already thought he was dead.
Only thanks to the emergency intervention of Steve Olvey, head of the CART medical team, who managed to stop the bleeding, Zanardì managed to reach the Berlin hospital in helicopter rescue where he remained in a coma for several days before recovering and being declared out of danger. A true myrcacle.
Anyone who would have quit, would have been overwhelmed with despair because of the loss of both legs, especially the thing could be devastating for a sportsman like him because the lower limbs were the instrument of his success.
But here something incredible and unique happened that made Zanardi the symbol of determination and strength of spirit.
The driver not only never gave up on his Handicap, but transformed it into his strength, becoming the icon of how a person with a strong motivation could make it possible to achieve any goal.***
The driver has always been ironic about his handicap and has subsequently returned to motor racing, only to decide to focus on disciplines that highlight how a physical impairment should not necessarily be an obstacle unless he wants to consider it as such.
He became a true champion of Para-cycling by winning four gold and two silver medals at the Paralympics and eight World Road Championships titles.
I wanted to bring you his example because he perfectly embodies the combination of motivation and goal.
It would have been easy for him to give up and live his new condition on the sidelines, even in light of the money, which certainly was not a problem for him.
Instead he decided to prove that the only barriers that a human being cannot overcome are the ones he imagines as such.
All this talk wants to lead to a very specific point, which is my feeling about many users who crowd Hive: the lack of motivation to progress, spread and really be part of the revolution called HIVE.
I know, I may seem repetitive and almost exalted to you, but I'm sure that blockchains and cryptocurrencies represent the future and how close it has to be will be decided by our actions alone.
Circumscribing the speech to my fellow countrymen, I see a lot of resignation and lack of motivation in believing in the project and trying to bring new Italian users in Hive.
I hope this is the result of negative experiences in Steem or previous failures to organize as an Italian community, but I don't think this is the most productive attitude to try to change things.
I realize that each of us has our own work and family commitments, but with a bit of organization it is possible to make the most of the little time available, overcoming this obstacle.
What can't be remedied in any way is the lack of motivation, which in my opinion is a symptom of not believing fully and not having a vision.
