Un saluto a tutti,
l'intera community di Hive è chiamata a votare su quello che è stato uno dei punti più controversi e che ha fatto più discutere nel momento dell'Hard Fork da steem: i conti esclusi dall'airdrop di Hive.
Ma prima vorrei fare un passo indietro per spiegare come siamo arrivati a questo punto e alla decisione che siamo chiamati a prendere.
L'HARD FORK
Come sappiamo la situazione in Steem Blockchain era degenerata e diventata ingestibile da quando Justin Sun ne aveva preso il possesso.
Lo so, starete pensando che una blockchain non può essere controllata da un solo attore, ma non è così.. purtroppo. Nelle blockchain DPoS (Delegated Proof of Stake) a prendere le decisioni sono gli stakeholders e ovviamente più token si hanno più si è influenti nel dire la propria opinione.
In Steem c'era il problema di un grande Stakeholder che è tutt'ora Steemit Inc che in qualità di ninja miner (ovvero uno dei miners iniziali che ha approfittato della sua posizione di favore in quanto minatore dei primi blocchi della blockhain) aveva accumulato una percentuale elevata di token corrispondente circa un terzo della capitalizzazione.
Steemit Inc aveva un patto con la community, ovvero non utilizzare questo stake per influenzare le scelte sulla blockchain, inclusa la votazione dei witnesses.
Justin Sun non ha rispettato questo patto ed ha imposto i suoi testimoni con l'unico obiettivo di delegittimare le scelte degli stakeholders e quindi della community.
Per farla breve, ogni tentativo di contatto e di dialogo è finito ancor prima di iniziare e si è arrivati a un punto di rottura dove Justin Sun ha corrotto/imbrogliato/raggirato/convinto (scegliete voi quello che si adatta meglio alla situazione) svariati exchange per utilizzare i depositi in steem di ignari clienti per sovvertire l'ordine dei witnesses.
La community ha reagito con forza a questo atto vile ed è riuscita a mettere almeno 10 dei suoi witnesses tra i primi venti, di fatto bloccando ogni possibile azione sulla blockchain in quanto per qualsiasi Hard Fork servono almeno 19 witnesses su 20.
La cosa fondamentale in tutta questa vicenda è che una parte della community ha deciso deliberatamente di appoggiare Justin Sun votando per i suoi witnesses (chiamati marionette) o in maniera diretta o tramite proxy (cioè delegare il voto per i witnesses a qualcun'altro, quindi chiunque lui voti come witnesses lo voterà anche chi lo ha delegato).
Questo atto io lo interpreto come supporto a Justin Sun e alla sua politica di gestione di una blockchain.
LE AZIONI DI JUSTIN SUN
Justin Sun ha mentito ripetutamente, alla community, agli exchange, ai witnesses. Chi lo conosce sa bene che non ama condividere le possibilità di scegliere con gli altri, sebbene ami farlo credere.
Il suo unico obiettivo sono i soldi.. farne e tanti a discapito del prodotto che sfrutterà per farlo. In questa occasione è toccato a Steem.
Appare chiaro che il fatto di poter utilizzare tutto il suo stake per prendere decisioni, votare contro chi esprime il proprio pensiero in contrasto con le sue idee, programmare Hard Fork che riducono il tempo di powerdown senza consultare la community e addirittura modificare la blockchain per far scomparire i post dei suoi detrattori, ma forse la cosa peggiore è stata congelare i conti di una decina di utenti impedendogli di prelevare o compiere qualsiasi azione con essi!
Tutto questo ha un solo nome: CENTRALIZZAZIONE.
Questo fa letteralmente a cazzotti con l'idea di una blockhain come era Steem quando fu creata: DECENTRALIZZATA E RESISTENTE ALLA CENSURA.
LA NASCITA DI HIVE
In totale opposizione alle azioni di Justin Sun e in nome della vera decentralizzazione, un congruo numero di witnesses legittimi prese una decisione: biforcare Steem e dalle ceneri di quei principi calpestati da Justin Sun far nascere una nuova blockchain: HIVE.
HIVE rappresenta tutti quei principi che spinsero Dan Larimer e Ned Scott a creare Steem, principi che purtroppo si sono persi per strada ma nei quali decine di migliaia di persone hanno creduto.. compreso il sottoscritto.
Ovviamente in quanto biforcazione di una blockchain esistente, si è deciso di partire lasciando tutto com'era: quindi chiavi private identiche così come lo stake degli utenti.
Insomma si è scattata un'istantanea della situazione di steem all'ultimo blocco cominciando una nuova catena e facendo un Airdrop dei token in modo da permettere agli utenti di mantenere la propria situazione invariata ma in un'altra blockchain, escludendo Steemit Inc e i conti a lei riconducibili per evitare il problema del ninja mining che aveva compromesso la blockchain di Steem.
Per ovviare ai problemi che si sarebbero ripresentati oltre al ninja mining di Steem, si è deciso di intervenire per limitare l'influenza dei supporters di Justin Sun e per farlo l'unico modo era di escludere i loro conti da questo airdrop.
Va sottolienato il concetto: escludere questi conti dall'airdrop, non bloccare questi utenti o cancellarli!
La differenza è abissale, in quanto questi utenti sono presenti in Hive e possono compiere tutte le azioni previste dall'utilizzo delle loro chiavi private; l'unica differenza dagli altri utenti è che non hanno ricevuto l'airdrop, quindi sono partiti con nessun token nel loro account.
LA DISCUSSIONE SULL'AIRDROP
Prendere una decisione del genere non è stato facile, ovviamente si è tenuto conto che avrebbe creato qualche malumore e che ne sarebbe scaturita una discussione.
Da una parte ci sono quelli che ritengono questa azione lesiva dei principi basilari della blockchain decentralizzata che Hive vorrebbe rappresentare, quindi libertà di parola, di azione e resistente alla censura.
Dall'altra ci sono tutti quelli che ritengono opportuna la decisione di escludere questi utenti dalla distribuzione iniziale dei token (airdrop) in quanto sostenitori di Sun e potenzialmente destabilizzanti per la stessa blockchain se avessero potuto sfruttare la stessa quantità di stake presente in Steem.
Va specificato che un airdrop è un "regalo" e non un diritto acquisito, quindi non riceverlo non pregiudica nessuna libertà, piuttosto manifesta una determinata volontà da parte di chi lo emette.
LE AZIONI PREVENTIVE E LO STATO ATTUALE
Ovviamente alla biforcazione di Steem e al lancio di Hive, si era già previsto di tornare sull'argomento "esclusione dell'airdrop".
Il periodo in cui c'è stato l'Hard Fork era molto convulso, non c'era tempo da perdere per procedere con la biforcazione prima che Sun ne avesse bloccato ogni possibilità.. e quindi si è deciso di procedere in modo cautelativo (escludendo alcuni account dall'airdrop) lasciandosi aperta la possibilità di ritornare sull'argomento in una situazione di maggiore tranquillità.
Ed è il punto a cui siamo oggi.
Il team di witnesses cha lavora ad Hive, ha deciso di tornare sull'argomento Airdrop dando alla community la possibilità di scegliere se concederlo ai conti esclusi e per farlo ha dato delle indicazioni precise, che trovate in questo post:

Per riassumere ci sono tre possibilità tra cui votare (cito testualmente dal post di @hiveio):

In sostanza:
- con la prima opzione si vota per concedere l'aidrop a quegli utenti che hanno votato per 2 o più witnesses di Sun nel periodo precedente l'Hard Fork (sock puppet witnesses)
- con la seconda opzione si concede l'airdrop a quegli utenti che avevano delegato il voto per i witnesses a un altro utente (proxy) che ha votato per due o più testimoni di Sun
- con la terza opzione non si concede l'aidrop a nessuno e si rispetta la prima distribuzione dei token senza aggiungere o togliere token a nessuno
Va specificato che i fondi che verranno concessi agli utenti dell'airdrop secondario non verranno sottratti a nessuno e sono già presenti nell'account @steem.dao, ovvero l'account che racchiude tutti i token che erano presenti nella blockchain di Steem e che non sono stati distribuiti durante l'Hard Fork, quindi i fondi di Steemit Inc, quelli dei conti a lei riconducibili e quelli di tutti gli utenti esclusi dall'airdrop.
Si potrà votare per 8 giorni e per farlo si potranno utilizzare tutte le interfacce che permettono di votare per i DHF (cioè quelle che permettono di votare per i progetti che vengono sovvenzionati con i fondi del DAO).

LA MIA OPINIONE
Io ho già votato e vi spiego cosa e perchè.
Ho deciso di supportare la terza opzione, quella che esclude la possibilità di questo airdrop secondario per tutti gli utenti coinvolti. La motivazione è semplice e ve la espongo.
Hive e Steem hanno la stessa radice ma due anime contrapposte; da una parte Steem di sta dimostrando una blockchain fortemente centralizzata con un uomo solo (dittatore?) al comando, nella quale la community non può decidere nulla e i dissidenti vengono oscurati e defraudati dei propri fondi.
Dall'altra c'è Hive che si propone come blockchain decentralizzata e nella quale al centro di tutto c'è la community e ci sono gli stakeholders (investitori), ne è un chiaro esempio questa circostanza in cui la community deciderà il destino di questo airdrop secondario.
E' abbastanza ovvio che chi ha deciso di supportare Justin Sun nel periodo antecedente all'airdrop di Hive e dell'hard fork, crede in principi opposti a quelli che Hive rappresenta e quindi non ha interesse a far parte di quest'ultima blockchain.
Perchè mai dovremmo dare dei fondi a queste persone? Secondo voi cosa faranno non appena ricevuti quei fondi?
Esatto, li metteranno sul mercato e li venderanno.. provocando forse altri dump delle quotazioni di Hive.
Mi sembra abbastanza chiaro che chi ha votato per un witnesses di Sun o ha ceduto il diritto di farlo a un proxy, ne supportava le idee e quindi è giusto che non riceva alcun hive.
Sono utenti che hanno fatto le proprie scelte consapevolmente e come tali non possono vantare alcun diritto nei confronti di Hive; tra l'altro non mi pare che nessuno si sia appellato o abbia fatto un "mea culpa" ammettendo di aver sbagliato.. anzi, sono ancora in Steem a scrivere e vivere la loro blockchain come se nulla fosse.
In Hive non abbiamo bisogno di utenti che destabilizzino la community, quindi sono fortemente contrario a qualsiasi forma di airdrop secondario.
Anzi, per quanto mi riguarda quei fondi che giaciono in @steem.dao si possono bruciare mandandoli a @null.
Non credo di essere troppo estremo nel dire queste cose, ma ho vissuto la blockchain di Steem come la speranza dell'inizio di qualcosa che fosse diverso ed ho sofferto molto quanto è stata messa sotto attacco da Sun; non voglio che questo si ripeta con Hive.

Hello everybody,
the entire Hive community is called to vote on what has been one of the most controversial points and which has made more discussion at the time of the Hard Fork as a steem: the accounts excluded from Hive's airdrop.
But first I would like to take a step back to explain how we got to this point and the decision we are called to make.
THE HARD FORK
As we know, the situation in Steem Blockchain had degenerated and become unmanageable since Justin Sun took possession of it.
I know, you are thinking that a blockchain cannot be controlled by a single actor, but it is not so ... unfortunately. In the DPoS (Delegated Proof of Stake) blockchains, the decisions are made by the stakeholders and obviously the more tokens you have, the more influential you are in saying your opinion.
In Steem there was the problem of a large Stakeholder who is still Steemit Inc who as a ninja miner (or one of the initial miners who took advantage of his position as a miner of the first blocks of the blockhain) had accumulated a high percentage of corresponding tokens about a third of the capitalization.
Steemit Inc had a pact with the community, i.e. not to use this stake to influence choices on the blockchain, including the vote of witnesses.
Justin Sun did not respect this pact and imposed his witnesses with the sole objective of delegitimizing the choices of the stakeholders and therefore of the community.
To make a long story short, every attempt at contact and dialogue ended even before starting and a breaking point was reached where Justin Sun has corrupted / cheated / deceived / convinced (you choose the one that best suits the situation) various exchanges to use unsustained clients' steem deposits to subvert the order of witnesses.
The community reacted strongly to this vile act and managed to put at least 10 of its witnesses in the top twenty, effectively blocking any possible action on the blockchain as for any Hard Fork, at least 19 out of 20 witnesses are needed.
The key thing in this whole story is that a part of the community has deliberately decided to support Justin Sun by voting for his witnesses (called puppets) either directly or through a proxy (i.e. delegating the witnesses' vote to someone else, so whoever votes as witnesses will also vote for those who delegated him).
I interpret this act as support for Justin Sun and his policy of managing a blockchain.
JUSTIN SUN'S ACTIONS
Justin Sun has lied repeatedly, to the community, to exchanges, to witnesses. Those who know him know well that he does not like to share the possibilities of choosing with others, although I love to make him believe.
His only goal is money ... make it and many at the expense of the product he will use to do it. On this occasion it fell to Steem.
It is clear that the fact of being able to use all its stake to make decisions, vote against those who express their thoughts in contrast with their ideas, program Hard Forks that reduce the powerdown time without consulting the community and even modify the blockchain to make disappear the posts of his detractors, but perhaps the worst thing was to freeze the accounts of a dozen users by preventing them from withdrawing or performing any action with them!
All this has only one name: CENTRALIZATION.
This literally punches the idea of a blockhain as Steem was when it was created: DECENTRALIZED AND CENSOR RESISTANT.
THE BIRTH OF HIVE
In total opposition to Justin Sun's actions and in the name of true decentralization, a fair number of legitimate witnesses made a decision: to fork Steem and from the ashes of those principles trampled by Justin Sun to give birth to a new blockchain: HIVE.
HIVE represents all those principles that drove Dan Larimer and Ned Scott to create Steem, principles that unfortunately got lost in the street but in which tens of thousands of people believed .. including myself.
Obviously as a bifurcation of an existing blockchain, it was decided to leave leaving everything as it was: therefore identical private keys as well as the users' stake.
In short, a snapshot of the steem situation was taken at the last block starting a new chain and making an Airdrop of the tokens in order to allow users to keep their situation unchanged but in another blockchain, excluding Steemit Inc and the accounts at she can be traced back to avoid the ninja mining problem that had compromised Steem's blockchain.
To remedy the problems that would arise in addition to Steem's ninja mining, it was decided to intervene to limit the influence of Justin Sun supporters and to do so the only way was to exclude their accounts from this airdrop.
The concept should be emphasized: exclude these accounts from the airdrop, do not block these users or delete them!
The difference is abysmal, as these users are present in Hive and can perform all the actions required by the use of their private keys; the only difference from other users is that they didn't receive the airdrop, so they started with no tokens in their account.
THE AIRDROP DISCUSSION
Making such a decision was not easy, obviously it was taken into account that it would create some discontent and that a discussion would ensue.
On the one hand there are those who believe this action is detrimental to the basic principles of the decentralized blockchain that Hive would like to represent, therefore freedom of speech, of action and resistant to censorship.
On the other hand, there are all those who consider the decision to exclude these users from the initial distribution of the tokens (airdrop) as Sun supporters and potentially destabilizing for the same blockchain if they could have exploited the same amount of stake in Steem.
It should be specified that an airdrop is a "gift" and not an acquired right, therefore not receiving it does not affect any freedom, rather it expresses a determined will on the part of the issuer.
PREVENTIVE ACTIONS AND THE CURRENT STATE
Obviously, at the bifurcation of Steem and the launch of Hive, it was already planned to return to the topic "exclusion of the airdrop".
The period in which there was the Hard Fork was very convulsive, there was no time to waste to proceed with the fork before Sun had blocked any possibility .. and therefore it was decided to proceed in a precautionary way (excluding some accounts from the airdrop) leaving open the possibility of returning to the subject in a situation of greater tranquility.
And that's where we are today.
The team of witnesses who work in Hive, decided to return to the Airdrop topic giving the community the opportunity to choose whether to grant it to the excluded accounts and to do so it gave precise indications, which you find in this post:

To summarize, there are three possibilities to vote for (I quote verbatim from the @hiveio post):

In essence:

It should be specified that the funds that will be granted to users of the secondary airdrop will not be subtracted to anyone and are already present in the @ steem.dao account, i.e. the account that contains all the tokens that were present in the Steem blockchain and that are not the funds of Steemit Inc, those of the accounts attributable to her and those of all users excluded from the airdrop were distributed during the Hard Fork.
You can vote for 8 days and to do this you can use all the interfaces that allow you to vote for DHF (i.e. those that allow you to vote for projects that are subsidized with DAO funds).

MY OPINION
I have already voted and I will explain what and why.
I decided to support the third option, the one that excludes the possibility of this secondary airdrop for all users involved. The motivation is simple and I expose it to you.
Hive and Steem have the same root but two opposing souls; on the one hand, Steem di is demonstrating a strongly centralized blockchain with one man (dictator?) in command, in which the community cannot decide anything and dissidents are obscured and defrauded of their own funds.
On the other there is Hive which proposes itself as a decentralized blockchain and in which at the center of everything there is the community and the stakeholders (investors) is a clear example of this circumstance, in which the community will decide the fate of this secondary airdrop.
It is quite obvious that those who decided to support Justin Sun in the period prior to the airdrop of Hive and the hard fork, believe in opposite principles to those that Hive represents and therefore have no interest in being part of the latter blockchain.
Why should we give these people funds? What do you think they will do as soon as they receive those funds?
That's right, they will put them on the market and sell them ... possibly causing other dumps in the Hive quotations.
It seems quite clear to me that anyone who voted for a Sun witnesses or gave up the right to do so to a proxy supported his ideas and therefore it is only right that he should not receive any hives.
They are users who have made their own choices consciously and as such cannot claim any right against Hive; among other things, it does not seem to me that nobody appealed or made a "mea culpa" admitting that they were wrong .. indeed, I am still in Steem writing and living their blockchain as if nothing had happened.
In Hive we don't need users who destabilize the community, so I am strongly opposed to any form of secondary airdrop.
Indeed, as far as I'm concerned, those funds that lie in @steem.dao can be burned by sending them to @null.
I don't think I'm too extreme in saying these things, but I experienced Steem's blockchain as the hope of the beginning of something that was different and I suffered a lot when it was attacked by Sun; I don't want this to happen again with Hive.
