Un saluto a tutti,
mentre c'è ancora chi si chiede se le criptovalute avranno un futuro e se Bitcoin riuscirà finalmente a sfondare il muro dei $10,000 , la finanza tradizionale e cioè quella che affonda i suoi pilastri sulla moneta FIAT, vive l'ennesimo scandalo miliardario.
E' notizia di ieri che la società tedesca Wirecard operante nel settore della tecnologia strettamente legata ai servizi finanziari è sull'orlo della bancarotta.
La motivazione risiede nel buco da 1.9 Miliardi di euro che non ha permesso alla società di revisione contabile Ernst & Young di chiudere il bilancio relativo al 2019.
Questo buco di bilancio si riferisce a presunto denaro contante depositato in dei conti in paesi asiatici che di fatto non esiste, con conseguente reato di frode che ha portato l'ex CEO Markus Braun ad essere arrestato e rilasciato dietro la ingente cauzione di 5 milioni di euro.
L'accusa è di aver monipolato i conti della società di fatto distorcendo il mercato falsificando i proventi delle transazioni verso terzi.
Per farvi capire l'entità dello scandalo, oltre al buco astronomico di quasi 2 miliardi di euro, basti pensare che Wirecard ha sedi in 20 paesi nel mondo ed oltre 5 mila dipendenti con una capitalizzazione di mercato di venti miliardi di dollari e tra i suoi clienti annovera Ikea, Aldi (catena di supermercati discount famosa in Germania), Citigroup, Bayer Monaco, Softbank.
Ovviamente dopo lo scandalo le quotazioni delle azioni sono scese del 90% e se non valgono zero è solo per la speculazione di coloro che stanno banchettando sulle ceneri della società con i soldi di poveri risparmiatori che stanno cercando di recuperare il salvabile.
Non è certo un momento facile per la Germania che dopo lo scandalo della Volkswagen e delle emissioni manipolate dei suoi propulsori diesel e della Bayer con la vicenda glifosato legata all’acquisizione della società Monsanto, deve affrontare quello di Wirecard che rappresenta l'ennesimo scossone al modello economico tedesco che era sempre stato disegnato dalla Bundesbank come sintesi del duro lavoro, dell'efficienza e del rigore nel rispettare le regole.
Un duro colpo all’etica calvinista della Banca Centrale Tedesca da parte di Wirecard visto che a tutti gli effetti si è rivelato il classico Schema Ponzi che prima o poi avrebbe trovato la sua conclusione in quanto impossibile da portare avanti per lungo tempo. Ma non solo.
La vicenda Wirecard ha messo in evidenza la debolezza dei controlli visto che è solo a seguito delle denuncie del Financial Times di ottobre e dicembre 2019, che gli analisti hanno cominciato a nutrire qualche dubbio sul modello economico della società mentre la BaFin, la Consob tedesca, ha continuato a difenderlo senza sollevare dubbi sulla solvibilità di Wirecard e questo fino alla settimana scorsa.
Qualche testa sicuramente cadrà ma non basterà a calmare le acque visto che questo scandalo è paragonato a quello della Enron e della Lehman Brothers.
Questa storia a mio modo di vedere rappresenta solo la punta dell'iceberg e sono convinto che altri scandali come questo riempiranno le pagine dei quotidiani o dei siti specializzati.
Questo perchè da anni si ricorre a giochetti di prestigio contabili per nascondere grandi sofferenze societarie, ma a furia di ricorrere a tali manipolazioni le dimesioni degli ammanchi diventano così enormi da non poter essere più occultate.
Questa "finanza creativa" ha lo scopo solo di posticipare i problemi e i vari scandali internazionali, tra cui quelli che ho già citato in precedenza, ne sono la chiara dimostazione.
Un modello finanziario vetusto che viene difeso solo da chi ha da trarne profitto, ovviamente a discapito dei malcapitati di turno: gli ignari azionisti.
Perchè la verità è che le conseguenze di questi crack finanziari sono sempre a danno dei poveri investitori, quei piccoli risparmiatori che assembrati in grande numero riescono a far raggiungere a queste società ingenti capitali, spesso miliardari.
La gravità della situazione è amplificata dall'atteggiamento passivo di quegli organi di controllo che invece di fare il proprio lavoro, preferiscono difendere questi malfattori e l'esempio della BaFin tedesca nel caso Wirecard ne è un chiaro esempio.
Per chi è a conoscenza delle criptovalute e delle blockchain dei modelli finanziario alle loro spalle, è impossibile non fare dei paragoni e non rendersi conto che il futuro è proprio nelle monete virtuali che presentano l'indubbio vantaggio della decentralizzazione.
Non dico di tutte perchè anche in questo campo vanno fatte delle valutazioni e delle distinzioni, ma c'è un ampia scelta di esempi funzionali e funzionanti da anni che potrebbero rappresentare il futuro della finanza mondiale.
La rivoluzione finanziaria è già cominciata e ogni scandalo come quello di Wirecard è un passo verso l'adozione di masse delle criptovalute.
Ci potranno volere ancora anni ma il processo è già cominciato e a mio modo di vedere è ormai inarrestabile.
Ci vorranno grandi sforzi per spodestare chi ha ancora troppo da guadagnare da situazioni come quella appena accaduta a Wirecard, un carrozzone fatto di "finanzieri" e "maneggioni" che continuano ad arricchirsi alle spalle della povera gente, senza scrupoli ne pudori ma solo la volontà di guadagnare ignorando le conseguenze.
Da una parte c'è la finanza obsoleta e corrotta, dall'altra c'è il futuro che è nelle mani di tutti noi. Da che parte volete stare?

Yesterday's news is that the German financial services technology company Wirecard is on the verge of bankruptcy.

A hard blow to the Calvinist ethics of the German Central Bank by Wirecard as it turned out to be the classic Ponzi scheme that would sooner or later find its conclusion as impossible to carry on for a long time. But that's not all.
The Wirecard affair highlighted the weakness of the controls as it was only after the complaints of the Financial Times in October and December 2019 that analysts began to have doubts about the company's economic model while the BaFin, the German Consob, continued to defend it without raising doubts about Wirecard's solvency and this until last week.
A few heads will surely fall off but it will not be enough to calm the waters as this scandal is compared to that of Enron and Lehman Brothers.
This story, in my view, is just the tip of the iceberg and I am convinced that other scandals like this one will fill the pages of newspapers or specialised websites.
This is because, for years now, prestigious accounting tricks have been used to hide great corporate suffering, but by resorting to such manipulations, the size of the shortfall becomes so enormous that it can no longer be hidden.
This "creative finance " has the sole purpose of postponing the problems and the various international scandals, including those I have already mentioned above, are a clear demonstration of this.
An antiquated financial model that is defended only by those who have a profit to make, obviously to the detriment of the unfortunate ones: the unsuspecting shareholders.
Because the truth is that the consequences of these financial cracks are always to the detriment of poor investors, those small savers who, assembled in large numbers, manage to make these companies reach huge capital, often billionaires.
The seriousness of the situation is amplified by the passive attitude of those control bodies that instead of doing their job, prefer to defend these evildoers and the example of the German BaFin in the Wirecard case is a clear example.
For those who are aware of the cryptocurrencies and the blockages of the financial models behind them, it is impossible not to make comparisons and not to realise that the future lies in virtual currencies, which have the undoubted advantage of decentralisation.
I don't say all of them because even in this field some evaluations and distinctions have to be made, but there is a wide choice of functional examples that have been working for years and that could represent the future of world finance.
The financial revolution has already begun and every scandal like Wirecard's is a step towards the adoption of crypto-currency masses.
It may take years more, but the process has already begun and in my view it is now unstoppable.
It will take great efforts to oust those who still have too much to gain from situations such as the one that just happened at Wirecard, a big car made up of "financiers" and "handlers" who continue to get rich behind the backs of poor people, without scruples or shame but only the will to earn money ignoring the consequences.
On the one hand there is the obsolete and corrupt finance, on the other hand there is the future which is in the hands of all of us. Whose side do you want to be on?
