For me, the SPS token accumulation has been a journey that I have been following since 2021. This is the year when this token was released and the initial price was very high so I thought that it would grow even more and start accumulating. I was new in the market and I didn't know how things worked then. This was the first time when I had seen a bull run in the crypto market and it was incredible. Almost every coin was trending in the market and the Bitcoin was also doing great. Now in 2024, the price of Bitcoin is better but the altcoins are still bleeding.
Coming back to my SPS journey which I am going to discuss in this article I would say that there have been opportunities when I could have booked some profit. Now I think that I missed that opportunity but it's fine because it was a learning phase for me. Just imagine if I had sold a good quantity that time and kept all the liquid funds then today for sure my holding must be one million or more. If I hold one million tokens now then the gaming can be a great experience with its reward. I have not even made the 60,000 tokens balance after three years but still trying to reach it.
I am hopeful that this will be possible and I'm pretty much close to the goal. There have been multiple goals in the past which I continued to increase and I will be doing the same in the future. This is how I think we can plan to build something more valuable and this is my way of token accumulation in the splinterlands game. I'm still new and learning a lot of things in the market and also in the game so I can't call myself a pro. But I would say that whatever I'm learning is improving my journey in the crypto market. I also understand that there is a lot that we can learn in the market especially when it is bearish. Once the market is bullish then it will be tough because people will try to book profit and hopefully soon that cycle will start.
Powering up some sps tokens today to increase the balance. Every token counts and the same I am trying to do with my holding which I hope will grow and by the end of this year I have to achieve my 60,000 sps goal. Let's see how I can do this I don't know how much time it will take in between but surely one thing is confirmed I am going to make it 60K by this year's end. I may be increasing the goal further but that increase will start from 60,000 in 2025 and not in 2024 year.
So this is my strategy and accumulation journeying with the game and its tokens. I might not buy cards but I will surely focus more on the token this time because the market is down. I asked a lot of people who are saying that the bull run is going to start so maybe the token price will also increase. So before that happens I am trying to grab more and go my overall holding for SPS coin as a stake in the game. I keep all my tokens I just take in the game and I don't keep liquid tokens.
