Instead of seeing failure, we can look at it as a lesson learnt. The truth is in life everyone has different perspectives to different situations.
Instead of giving up, you can tell yourself that growth is possible with effort. Here are the ways I've tried to take control of mine.
Identifying The Reality:
Truth is you can't change your narrative if you don't know exactly what it is at the moment. The belief holding you back. Knowing it is the first step. I'd have love to share my situation but I can't, however I understand it and I'm rising above it and changing the narratives.
Challenge it:
After identifying it, just like in chess, you challenge it. Ask yourself how it happened and if it's actually true or is it just something people say or is it just something that has been dropped around on you.
Change The story
Now all you have to do is reframe it, turn what people say into something better and positive. If people everyone says you're weak, look for strength within and tell yourself you're strong. In one popular Netflix movie, a kid was always picked on because of his lip, he had something that was amusing on the top of lip- He was called lip and so many names. He changed his narrative by changing his hairstyle to something very badass and called himself Hawk. He gave himself confidence and overall became a different person because of his approach.
