👋 Hello Hive friends and Splinterlands enthusiasts
It's been a while since I brought an update about this fantastic HiveGame, so it's time to fix that.
I must admit that in the past seasons, I have hardly played because I had little time, and I dedicated that little time to writing posts and creating content for Hive.
I don't like not having played even a single match on Splinterlands, so I will definitely try to make up for it in this new season that started a few days ago.
However, I haven't been idle and have taken some actions that I will now share with you. But to keep things clear, let's review my basic strategy for this game and this period leading up to the arrival of the new expansion "Arcana".
🎯 Strategic Vision
I decided to take a slightly different path from most. While many players are focusing on the latest expansion, Rebellion, I have chosen to bet on Chaos cards. A choice that may seem counterintuitive but has solid strategic foundations.
📝 The Detailed Plan
New Account and Delegations: I intend to create a second account to which I will delegate the SPS needed to play in the Wild format.
Focus on Modern: I will continue to concentrate mainly on the Modern format, which I find more fun and rewarding. This will allow me to maintain a high level of engagement and enjoyment in the game.
Targeted Purchase Strategy: I am purchasing max-level Chaos cards, focusing particularly on the most useful cards in battle. Careful selection is essential to maximize performance.
❓ Why Focus on Chaos?
When the Arcana expansion arrives, Chaos cards will only be usable in the Wild format. This move will allow me to:
- Be competitive right away
- Maximize rewards using a bot
- Invest in assets with future revaluation potential
🎯 Long-Term Objective
My bet is twofold:
- Build a competitive set of cards for the Wild format
- Hope the team provides new utilities for old expansions to achieve revaluation of the cards purchased during a period when values are at historic lows.
🛠 I Haven't Played, So What Did I Do?
As described above, my strategy includes increasing SPS in staking, and indeed, I proceeded in this regard in December. At the end of each year, I take 50% of my crypto sector earnings and reinvest them in the projects I like the most, which I have done here. I took $108 from my earnings and converted them into 12,821 SPS:
My current SPS staking total now stands at 22,980:
Additionally, as always, the strategy includes buying some cards from the Chaos expansion:
These are all Summoner cards with the "Conscript" ability, which allows them to summon a "Gladius" card (very powerful cards). I decided to acquire them precisely because they are the only cards to date with this ability, and I believe they will be very important in Wild format matches.
📈 Asset Value Analysis
Regular readers know that I monitor the value of the Chaos cards I have purchased over the past few months since formulating what has become my definitive strategy. Here's the current situation:
Currently, my assets have depreciated by 7%, which is mainly due to purchasing the Summoners mentioned above, likely not at the best moment.
However, this is not my focus because my objective is not NFT trading but rather a medium/long-term goal, so that's fine.

Now let's see how the rental of the only card I have currently listed in Rent is going:
I am very satisfied because the value of 300 DEC/Day is still holding, and the updated situation is as follows:
Regarding my experiment with renting cards to play in the Modern format, having not played, there aren't many updates. The situation remains as follows:

I will continue with my plan, adding SPS in staking and buying Chaos cards that I find useful in battle (I still have about 90K DEC in my wallet to spend). I will try to play more regularly to accumulate Glint and increase the level of Rewards Soulbound cards.

è da diverso tempo che non porto un aggiornamento relativo a questo fantastico HiveGame e quindi è tempo di rimediare.
Devo ammettere che nelle ultime stagioni non ho praticamente giocato perché ho avuto poco tempo e quel poco tempo l'ho dedicato a scrivere post e creare contenuti per Hive.
Non mi piace non aver fatto neanche una partita su Splinterlands e quindi cercherò assolutamente di rimediare in questa nuova stagione cominciata da qualche giorno.
Non sono comunque rimasto con le mani in mano e ho fatto delle operazioni che ora vi racconto. Ma per mantenere il filo rivediamo qual è la mia strategia di base per questo gioco e per questo periodo alle porte dell'arrivo della nuova espansione "Arcana".
🎯 Visione Strategica
Ho deciso di percorrere una strada un po' diversa dalla maggior parte. Mentre molti giocatori si stanno buttando sull'ultima espansione Rebellion, io ho scelto di puntare sulle carte Chaos. Una scelta che può sembrare controintuitiva, ma che ha solide basi strategiche.
📝 Il Piano Dettagliato
Nuovo Account e Deleghe: ho intenzione di creare un secondo account al quale delegherò gli SPS necessari per giocare nel formato Wild.
Focus sul Modern: continuerò a concentrarmi principalmente sul formato Modern, che trovo più divertente e con ricompense più interessanti. Questo mi permetterà di mantenere alto il livello di coinvolgimento e divertimento nel gioco.
Strategia di Acquisto Mirato: sto acquistando carte Chaos di livello massimo, con un occhio particolare alle carte più utili in battaglia. La selezione accurata è fondamentale per massimizzare le prestazioni.
❓ Perché Puntare sulle Chaos?
Quando arriverà l'espansione Arcana, le carte Chaos saranno utilizzabili solo nel formato Wild. Questa mossa mi permetterà di:
- Essere competitivo fin da subito
- Massimizzare le ricompense utilizzando un bot
- Investire in asset con potenziale di rivalutazione futura
🎯 Obiettivo a Lungo Termine
La mia scommessa è duplice:
- Costruire un set di carte competitive per il formato Wild
- Sperare che il team dia nuove utilità alle vecchie espansione per ottenere una rivalutazione delle carte acquistate in un periodo in cui i valori sono ai minimi storici.
🛠 Non ho giocato e quindi cosa ho fatto?
Come descritto sopra, nella mia strategia è previsto l'aumento degli SPS in staking e infatti nel mese di dicembre ho proceduto in tal senso. Alla fine di ogni anno prendo il 50% dei miei guadagni nel settore crypto e li riverso sui progetti che mi piacciono di più e infatti così ho fatto. Ho preso 108 dollari dai miei introiti e li ho convertiti in 12.821 SPS:

Inoltre, come sempre la strategia prevede, ho comprato alcune carte dell'espansione Chaos:

📈 Analisi valore asset
Chi mi legge regolarmente sa che tengo monitorato il valore delle carte Chaos che ho acquistato da qualche mese a questa parte, da quando ho partorito quella che poi è diventata la mia strategia definitiva. Questa è l'attuale situazione:
Attualmente quindi i miei asset si sono svalutati del 7% e questa svalutazione è dovuta proprio all'acquisto dei Summoners sopra citati che probabilmente non ho comprato nel momento più opportuno.
Non è comunque il mio focus perché l'obiettivo non è fare trading di NFT ma è più a medio/lungo periodo e quindi, va bene così.
💼 Noleggio carte
Ora vediamo com'è andato il noleggio dell'unica carta che ho in questo momento messo in Rent:

In merito invece al mio esperimento del noleggio di carte per giocare nel formato Modern, non avendo giocato, non ho grandi novità. La situazione è ferma qui:

Continuerò con il mio piano, aggiungendo SPS in staking e comprando carte Chaos che reputo utili in battaglia (ho ancora circa 90K DEC in portafoglio da poter spendere). Cercherò di tornare a giocare con più regolarità per riuscire ad accumulare Glint e aumentare il livello delle carte Rewards Soulbound.
