Hoy vengo a hablarles de la interesante experiencia que pude vivir con mi hermana Caribay en la feria de emprendedores de Caracas Emprende, feria que fue realizada en la Plaza Alfredo Sadel, la cual está ubicada en Las Mercedes, específicamente en frente del C.C. El Tolón.
On Thursday afternoon, my sister told me that she received a call from Ricardo, the manager of a system of entrepreneurs throughout the state of Miranda, who invited my sister to participate for free in a fair that will be held. Friday, Saturday and Sunday of last weekend; I found the proposal a great challenge, taking into account the three days and the social zone that the upper class represents. My sister has always wanted an invitation to that area because she believes that a lot can be sold in that place due to the high economic activity that flows through those places.
El jueves en la tarde mi hermana me comenta que recibió una llamada de Ricardo, el encargado de un sistema de emprendedores de todo el estado de Miranda, el cual le hacía una invitación a mi hermana para participar de forma gratuita de una feria que se realizará el viernes, sábado y domingo del fin de semana pasado; la propuesta me pareció un gran reto, tomando en cuenta los tres días y la zona social que representa la clase alta. Mi hermana siempre ah querido la invitación hacia esa zona porque considera que en ese lugar se podrá vender mucho por la alta actividad económica que fluye por esos lugares.

Hoy martes después de haber pasado un fin de semana fuerte y trabajoso les comento, no todo fue como pensamos, mi hermana solo logro vender una sola pieza, situación que nos sorprendió mucho pero que nos lleva a una reflexión de aprendizaje.
The first reflection that arose in my mind was that people who have a high economic level tend to spend little, because they know how to save very well, but that does not mean that they do not buy in quantity, of course they do, but they usually buy from trusted places or recommended by other well-known people. The second reflection is that most of the youth have withdrawn from my country due to the economic situation, taking into account that the clothes that my sister makes is very colorful, pointing to that rebellion or search for youth difference. Another possible reason is the issue of racism, I don't know how much that issue can affect my sister's stand in a place where there are many children of Arabs and Europeans. Another possible reason that a friend who worked in sales in clothing stores told me is that people like to live the experience of entering a store, which has architecture, color, air conditioning, mirrors, a variety of clothes and a private space to measure clothes, with this experience even the ugliest clothes can be sold (I accept this idea that it seemed very successful); But not everything is bad, as time passes I understand that the objective of the fair is not only to sell, but also to make ourselves known as a brand, and this has been working very well for us, so much so that my sister already has an invitation for the fair of the Fifth Bar, a very recognized nightclub in the capital of Caracas.
La primera reflexión que me surgió en la mente, fue que las personas que tienen alto nivel económico suelen ser de poco gastar, debido a que saben ahorrar muy bien, pero eso no quiere decir que no compren en cantidad, claro que sí, pero suelen comprar en lugares de confianza o recomendados por otros conocidos conocidos. La segunda reflexión es que la mayoría de la juventud se ha retirado de mi país por la situación económica, tomando en cuenta que la ropa que realiza mi hermana es muy colorida, apuntando a esa rebeldía o búsqueda de diferencia juvenil. Otra posible razón es el tema del racismo, no sé que tanto pueda afectar ese tema en stand de mi hermana en un lugar donde existen muchos hijos de Árabes y Europeos. Otra posible razón que me comentó un amigo que trabajaba de ventas en tiendas de ropa, es que, a las personas les gusta vivir la experiencia de entrar en una tienda, la cual con lleva arquitectura, color, aire acondicionado, espejos, variedad de ropa y un espacio privado para medirse la ropa, con esta experiencia hasta la ropa más fea se puede vender (está idea acepto que me pareció muy acertada); pero no todo es malo, a medida que pasa el tiempo comprendo que el objetivo de la feria no es solo vender, sino también darnos a conocer como marca, y esto nos ha venido funcionando muy bien, tanto así que ya mi hermana tiene un invitación para la feria de la Quinta Bar, una discoteca muy reconocida en la capital de Caracas.

JEANNE PAQUIN (1869-1936)
