This weeks theme for the Deranged Photography Contest is monochrome I have decided to go with misty foggy bare leafless trees I find when trees are bare they reveal there true characteristics symbolizing what stage or cycles they are going through shall we call it seasons of life as with bare leafless tress we know we are in winter and in some cases it can also be that the bare branches are representing old age or the death of the tree.
What I love mostly about bare leafless trees is how they look at night with the moon shedding some light through the bare branches and the mist moving slowing through the forest making it look like a scary scene from a Halloween movie making them bare leafless trees the prefect candidates for monochrome photography.
Although those bare leafless trees may represent a scene out of a horror movie they also display a certain beauty or loveliness about them revealing there true identity characteristics right down to the bone and that's what I love about bare leafless trees.
