I bought a new tablet so I can have another drawing tablet to carry around. It's the first time I tried a brand outside Wacom. Two reasons, it's cheaper than the Wacom equivalent I was eyeing and it's just testing a product. Figuring out the custom settings to pen pressure and etc was a drag but overall it's working fine.
This is a quick sketch to test out the product. Took me less than 15 minutes to render and plenty of polishing needed but testing out the product was the end objective and not cringe about my current skill level. Believe it or not, while this account posts less, most of my hours in art related leisure are spent just doing sketches and watching tutorials. It's better to just build up some skills than be concerned about pumping out crappy content. This post is just logging my art journey on the blockchain.
The one I was previously using was "Wacom One" which has a wide screen you can draw on but its size and how to set it up became a hassle to carry around. I always view my purchases on the utility long term. As much as possible, I'd like an option where I can be non-reliant on one place to generate income. This meant choosing assets for work I can travel with conveniently. Sounds a bit contrary to the profession I'm in where I'm supposed to be in one place but then I've always been into arts and medicine just comes as a convenient job I could get behind.
