


Today's trail work was what's called "brushing". Clearing overgrowth to make the trail and any obstacles more visible.
I didn't take very good pictures this time. If you look closely, you can see how I generally cut back growth, with quite a bit removed on the right, as well as overhanging branches. There are some rocks and stumps on the left that I contoured the trail around.
People pick their paths with their eyes before their feet, so our intent is to direct them as such.
Life is like that in general, isn't it? We react to what we see first, letting experience be our guide. The other senses then get their chance to chime in.
To see and assess what is, and what isn't, with an open mind is a special gift.
