Hello animal friends!
It's been a while when I was in the zoo in Leipzig. I life near Cologne which is in the western side of Germany, while Leipzig is in the east side. I'm there occasionally with my wife to visit my parents in law. So we decided to go to the zoo. I haven't been there for nearly 10 years I guess. The zoo is really big and has its own TV show where you learn something about the animals and get news about the offspring's. They are cooperating with other zoos:
To ensure the survival of endangered species, zoos from around the world have to work in close cooperation.
In international and regional StudBooks data is collected for over 1,000 animal species worldwide – from tropical snail species to the Asian Elephant.
The weather was a bit cold but we had sun and a clear sky.

Here are the pictures from my wife's camera and mobile phone. She made over 150 pictures but I will only share a few of them.
