On my second day in Antwerp, after my day at work, I decided to do it another way. Instead of choosing the restaurant to have dinner before leaving the hotel in I decided to order an Uber to the main street of the city and simply start walking and discovering the city.
I started walking through the central street of Antwerp, at first I was getting discouraged because it was a “normal” street that I would find in Portugal with stores of the famous brands of the world (Primark, Zara, H&M, etc.).
However, during the tour I noticed that there was a mall that was undergoing exterior remodeling and I decided to enter.
This mall is called Stadsfeestzaal Shopping, the first picture in this publication.
I loved the beautiful finishes inside the Shopping Mall, different from what I'm used to seeing in Portugal.
After this short visit, I continued walking and came across the train station called Antwerpen-Centraal.
A different and beautiful season.
I continued my walk and found Antwerp's ChinaTown, however, I decided not to enter, as I didn't see any tourists going there and I was afraid that the people who live there don't like tourists.
One of the things I noticed is that the Chocolate Nation Museum was right next to the entrance to ChinaTown, but when I got there it was closed and I couldn't go see the exhibition of works of art made with Belgian chocolate.
After this I ended up going to the Antwerp Opera, I couldn't get in to visit because there was a show going on.
At the end of this tour I ended up deciding to go to an Argentine restaurant for dinner where I ate 2 empanadas for starters and 400g of Angus steak.
I hope you enjoyed my photos from this day.
