This backpack has lived with me, from my medical studies to my most recent travel posts.
Being a student is synonymous with carrying a backpack. Being a traveler is almost the same.
If you are one of the two, you probably have more than one backpack. Because without them, it would be impossible to survive, right?
Today, I’m showing you mine (the one I use the most)
I don’t remember how it came to me. Maybe it was a gift or I bought it, but it was so long ago that I couldn’t say for sure.
When it first arrived, it was navy blue, quite different, and that was one of the things I loved the most.
The sun has done its work, and it’s now that nameless shade of blue.
It’s not a big backpack, but it’s lightweight and water-resistant (the fabric doesn’t let water in)
The most important is that it has a compartment to store my laptop. This way, I can work wherever I go (thankfully, the laptop is not too heavy too)
It also has a pocket for my wallet or phone. Super useful when you have to move around in a city where public transport isn’t the safest or of the best quality.
Inside, I don’t carry much because I don’t need much.
However, I can’t forget a water bottle (which I recycle when I use it), my notebook for taking notes on potential articles and university stuff, my sunglasses, because without them, no one can survive the Caribbean, and a few other essentials.
With that, I’m prepared for anything :)
My partner often tells me that I use it for fun because I don’t carry much.
It’s also fair to say that her bag looks like Narnia. I don’t know how she fits so many things in there :)
I’ve carried this backpack throughout university, using it from Monday to Saturday, and the years have started to take their toll. So soon, it will be time to replace it.
Can you give me any recommendations?
In the meantime, it will continue to accompany me on every adventure.
