Una de mis cosas preferidas cuando el cielo está despejado en la isla, es poder ver a lo lejos la silueta de las islas Tenerife y La Gomera. Podría pasar horas sentada en el malecón viéndolas y, sintiendo la arena bajo mis pies.
Luego de varios extenuantes días entre el frío y el trabajo, el regalo de hoy fue la calidez del sol, el mar y el silencio de las calles. Ya les había mencionado que el Domingo es mi día favorito de la semana precisamente por la paz y la calma que logra abrazarte.
Febrero se está convirtiendo en un mes muy movido a nivel emocional, se siente como si estuviese cargando nuevamente con sentimientos no muy buenos. Es por ello que salir a caminar se ha convertido en una nueva terapia.
Algunas veces te cuesta concebir que ahora eres parte de algo nuevo, te sientes desubicado y desconoces las calles que a diario recorres. Pensar en la vida que dejaste para construir una nueva, suele ser doloroso y al mismo tiempo reconfortante. Creo que en estos escenarios no existen polos extremos sino matices. Y son estas caminatas las que me hacen pensar en ello.

Sometimes you find it hard to conceive that you are now part of something new, you feel out of place and unfamiliar with the streets you travel daily. Thinking about the life you left to build a new one is often painful and at the same time comforting. I believe that in these scenarios there are no extreme poles but nuances. And it is these walks that make me think about it.
