As I mentioned in the previous post to this one, where I showed you a Beehibee figurine I made, I was able to travel to a neighboring city to attend a Hive event, made by hivers from the city. It was a very nice event, but I'll tell you more about that later. Now I want to focus on the moments leading up to that event.
Although I have been to the city where the event was held several times this year, I didn't always visit the beautiful places it has. You see, I live in a small city, there are not too many places that stand out for being big, having a lot of stores or being really outstanding to the eye. To give you an idea, in my town there is not even a movie theater, no big shopping malls either, just some small ones, but with quite a few stores as well.
That said, it is obvious that it is very fun and interesting, at least for me, to visit these big shopping malls with so many things that I don't always see in my day to day life.
That morning I left early for Barquisimeto, the city where the Hive event was held. I arrived there around 11 in the morning, the bus left me in front of the Sambil, a huge shopping mall. I was supposed to meet someone there, so while I was waiting for her I distracted myself walking around the many stores there. I went into clothing stores, technology stores and also stopped at a few stalls in the aisles of the mall.
In the center of everything, there is an area to sit and eat; however, on this occasion I stopped to look at the attractions that were there for children, as I thought I would take my cousin later. There were a lot of things, many of them were similar to obstacle courses and others simply for children to play and jump.
When my companion arrived, we went to lunch. It was almost twelve o'clock, so hunger was taking its toll on me. As some of you who know me know, I am on a diet, this was a special date, so I had no problem to break the diet with a good hamburger, a good meal that is more enjoyable when you enjoy good company. I also took the opportunity to take a few pictures of the figurines I planned to give to some fellow hivers, once I arrived at the event.
After lunch, we took more pictures, visited more stores, chatted and then left for the Hive activity. But, as I told you, I'll tell you more about that later.

Como ya mencioné en la publicación anterior a esta, donde les mostré una figurita de Beehibee que hice, pude viajar a una ciudad vecina para asistir a un evento de Hive, hecho por hivers de la ciudad. Fue un evento muy bonito, pero de eso les hablaré más adelante. Ahora quiero centrarme en los momentos previos a ese evento.
Aunque este año he ido varias veces a la ciudad donde se realizó la actividad, no siempre visitaba los lugares tan bonitos que tiene. Verán, vivo en una ciudad pequeña, no hay demasiados lugares que destaquen por ser grandes, tener muchas tiendas o ser realmente resaltantes a la vista. Para que se hagan una idea, en mi pueblo ni siquiera hay un cine, tampoco centros comerciales grandes, solo algunos pequeños, pero con bastantes tiendas también.
Dicho esto, es evidente que resulta muy divertido e interesante, al menos para mí, visitar estos centros comerciales de gran tamaño y con tantas cosas que no siempre veo en mi día a día.
Esa mañana partí temprano a Barquisimeto, la ciudad donde se hizo el evento de Hive. Llegué allí cerca de las 11 de la mañana, el autobús me dejó frente al Sambil, un centro comercial enorme. Quedé en verme con alguien en ese lugar, así que mientras la esperaba me distraje paseando por la gran cantidad de tiendas que hay. Entré a tiendas de ropa, tiendas de tecnología y también me detuve en unos cuantos puestos que hay en los pasillos del centro comercial.
En el centro de todo, hay un área para sentarse a comer; sin embargo, en esta ocasión me detuve a observar las atracciones que había para niños, ya que pensé en llevar a mi prima más adelante. Había un montón de cosas, muchas de ellas eran similares a juegos de obstáculos y otras simplemente para que los niños jugaran y saltaran.
Cuando llegó mi acompañante, fuimos a comer. Eran casi las doce, así que el hambre estaba haciendo estragos en mí. Como saben algunos de los que me conocen, estoy a dieta, pero esa era una cita especial, así que no tuve problemas en romper la dieta con una hamburguesa, una buena comida que se disfruta más cuando se goza de buena compañía. De igual manera, aproveché para tomar unas cuantas fotografías de las figuritas que planeaba entregar a unos compañeros hivers, una vez que llegara al evento.
Después de almorzar, nos tomamos más fotos, visitamos más tiendas, conversamos y entonces partimos a la actividad de Hive. Pero, como ya les dije, de eso les hablaré más adelante.
