Since I moved to the capital, I’ve been on television several times, both for my literary career and for my work as a communicator at Editorial Gente Nueva. Yesterday was for the latter.
Normally, when I go to work (to Vedado, which is far from my house), I go in "guerrilla mode." That means a cap and shirt for the sun, boots for walking comfortably. In hot weather, I absolutely refuse to wear my hair down or put on makeup. Yesterday, for some reason, I decided to dress up a little more. And thank goodness 🙈
Mid-morning, they told me I had to be at the Canal Educativo 2 studios by 2 p.m. to record an interview. This will air on national TV, so if there’s electricity, my family back in my hometown will be able to see it.
The studio is really nice, and the guy who interviewed me was a sweetheart.
