As a result of the high rate of suicides in the State of Merida - Venezuela, where people take the path of death by mechanical asphyxiation or by throwing themselves from the highest viaducts that we have in our State.
The first viaduct "Elias Field" was the most selected given its height, the government had to take precautions by investing and placing a space of mesh to further hinder the intentions of its passers-by .
For various reasons people have now taken the Miranda viaduct as a suicide site, the second in the sequence of 3 viaducts linking 2 ends of the city
The third "Sucre" Viaduct does not seem to be so attractive for this type of acts without understanding for many, questioned for others, justified for some, different are the opinions, the one that resonates the most is that it is the lowest in height and those who have attempted this action have not achieved their goal.
the most urgent action taken by the local government is to place police officers and firefighters on these viaducts on a permanent basis to prevent the citizen from achieving his goal, even so it has been unsuccessful as these places are still destinations of a transition of life.

A raíz de la alta tasa de suicidios en el Estado Mérida – Venezuela, donde las personas toman las vías de morir por asfixia mecánica o por lanzarse desde los viaductos más altos que tenemos en nuestro Estado.
Por diversas razones ahora las personas han tomado como lugar de suicidio el viaducto Miranda el segundo que sigue en la secuencia de 3 viaductos que enlazan 2 extremos de la ciudad
Pese a los esfuerzos que realiza la sociedad en el tema y acciones para tratar de disminuir esta consecuencia, de una serie de emociones que puede padecer la persona
El tercer Viaducto “Sucre” no parece ser tan atractivo para este tipo de actos sin entendimientos para muchos, cuestionado para otros, justificado para algunos, diferentes son las opiniones, la que más tiene resonancia es que es el más bajo de altura y quienes han intentado ésta acción no han logrado su objetivo .
las acciones más urgentes que ha tomado el gobierno local es colocar funcionarios policiales,bomberiles en estos viaductos de forma permanente para así evitar que el ciudadano logre su cometido, aún así ha sido infructuoso ya que siguen estos lugares siendo destinos de una transición de vida.
