Hello Hive :)
It's Friday here, gloomy and dreary one. Well, it's been like that since the 29th so everywhere is wet and cold! Whew! I'm hoping that the sky clears out as the day progresses.
We are prepping for a wedding. There are two actually today, they are in different places. Both are of our relatives but we can only get ourselves into one of them. Rule of thumb is to go to the first invitation we received so that's what we are up to do and see if we can catch up with the other one. Although I have doubts. We did send our presents through my brother so all good.
Before we head out, let me just share a few photos of the beautiful sundown somewhere in the other region. We caught a glimpse of it while we were traversing the highway on coming home from our little pre-Christmas road trip. It was good that the husband noticed I was trying to capture something and he slowed down a bit.
We could have stopped and watched the magic for a little while but because we had company (a young boy, maybe 6 or 7 years old and his father who reeked of alcohol. They called for a hitch ride while we were on the bridge and we can't just drive past them), we just took some snaps and sped away. It was getting dark and our passengers are going home to the next town so we had to get them there, fast!
Back to the sunset, the lone house is in a great location, I must say. It is in proximity to the highway, can sight mountains, the hills too and an impeded view of the horizon when the sun sets. Did that sound I was envious? Only a bit, lol! But yeah, it's a nice spot I think, surrounded by nature's finest. And they do need to have more plants around them to control the dust and noise coming from the busy road. At least that's what I would do if I own the place.
Geez, did I just make a little plan? Haha! Forgive me for such a musing for the day.
Thank you and Cheers to an awesome time!
