Hi, Hivers! Rej here and I am back for another Rejourney. This time, I'm gonna be sharing with you our family's small win in life and a blessing we got from God. After 5 months of reviewing, my brother took the Licensure Examination for Mechanical Engineers for the very first time. I saw his preparation and dedication just to reach his dream.
Being the product of fisher folks in the province of Argao, Cebu, Philippines, my brother has this passion in his heart of becoming an Engineer someday. He has this wild dream of helping our parents and give them the life that they deserve. When my brother decided to review and take the board exam, we gave him our all out support. There was never a time that we let him feel that he is alone in this journey. True enough, he took the board exam last February 26-27,2023 and three days after, the result was out. HE PASSED! Our heart is screaming with so much joy for this blessing that we received from God. My brother is now a Registered Mechanical Engineer.
Our family decided to have a small "salo-salo" in our province in Argao, Cebu to celebrate this victory. We prepared some food and had a great memory with our family, relatives, family friends and close friends. While writing this, I came to think that all our sacrifices for the past years were all worth it. We are not born with a silver spoon and we really need to work hard and smart for us to achieve our dreams.
My brother's success of being a Registered Mechanical Engineer on his first take is a living proof that no matter what your status in life is, all of our dreams are valid. God answers prayers when we paired it with faith in Him as well. We are very much grateful to all the people who prayed for us. We are so blessed to have the best parents who is always there no matter what challenges we face in life.
