Being raised by our parents who are fisherfolks, we really climed up the ladder to fulfill our dreams. Few years ago, I was able to finish my degree. I immediately looked for a job that time to help my parents in sending my younger brothers to school. It wasn't an easy journey, but I'm glad that I chose to fight for our family's dreams.
It still feels like yesterday when my brother graduated from college. Last March 2023, he passed the board exam on his first take and became a Registered Mechanical Engineer. I've seen his hardwork & determination just to be where he is right now. We are so grateful that God gave this blessing to him after years of hardwork.
Last June 9,2023, he finally took his oath as a new Registered Mechnical Engineer at IEC Convention Center in Mabolo, Cebu City, Philippines together with all the new Registered Professional Mechanical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers & Certififed Plant Mechanics. I am so happy that our family was complete to witness this milestone of my brother. I really saw the happiness of my parents during the event. I am so proud of them for raising a son who is very kind, responsible and hardworking. As my brother's older sister, all I want is to see him happy with the path that he wanted to take. It gave me a sense of fulfillment that he also valued all my efforts. It still feels surreal to know that the things we once dreamed of are now coming into reality.
Our story only proves that no matter where you're from, your dreams are valid. At this point of time, our youngest brother is also on his way of fulfilling his dream of becoming an Electrical Engineer someday.May our story inspire every individual to trust God's plan for our lives and that we are free to become what we work hard for.
