¡Feliz domingo para todos!
Anoche me visitó el insomnio así que tenía que buscar alguna cosa que hacer para relajarme y distraerme, entonces recordé que tenía un dragón pendiente de colorear.
Quería hacer un dragón de fantasía, con tonos vivos; muy distinto al dragón anterior que hice en tonos tierra. Seleccioné una gama de rosas y naranjas, un poco inspirada en la dragona de Shrek. Y aunque este parecía más bien un dragón oriental, o algo así como un dragón del bosque, yo decidí darle color con mi libre interpretación de la escena. Después de todo, esto es un ejercicio de creatividad y relajación en el que se vale todo, incluso salirse de las líneas.
Me he dado cuenta que cada dibujo que coloreo se desarrolla dentro de una gama de colores distinta que me conecta con diferentes emociones.
Después de terminado no pude evitar la comparación con mi dragón anterior y contrastartar las técnicas, los colores y las emociones a las que me conecta cada uno.
Mientras coloreaba, pensaba que ya casi no me quedan dibujos y que pronto necesitaré imprimirme algunos más. Quiero buscar algunas escenas del fondo del mar, relajantes y pacíficas; pero también necesitaré dragones y fénix, criaturas poderosas que me conecten a otras emociones más enérgicas.
Espero que tengan un domingo de descanso y relajación, yo creo que me iré a recuperar horas de sueño. Nos leemos mañana.

Happy Sunday everyone!
Last night I was struck by insomnia, so I had to find something to do to relax and distract myself, then I remembered I had a dragon to color.
I wanted to make a fantasy dragon, with bright tones; very different from the previous dragon I had done in earth tones. I selected a range of pinks and oranges, somewhat inspired by the dragon in Shrek. And although this one looked more like an oriental dragon, or something like a forest dragon, I decided to color it with my free interpretation of the scene. After all, this is an exercise in creativity and relaxation where anything goes, even going outside the lines.
I've realized that each drawing I color develops within a different color range that connects me with different emotions.
After finishing it, I couldn't help but compare it with my previous dragon and contrast the techniques, colors, and emotions they connect me to.
While I was coloring, I thought that I almost had no more drawings left and that I'd soon need to print some more. I want to look for some relaxing and peaceful deep-sea scenes; but I'll also need dragons and phoenixes, powerful creatures that connect me to other, more energetic emotions.
