This morning, Tiffany and I booked workout sessions for next Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Those will be our first workouts, since May 29th.
To say Tiffa and I are excited would be an understatement.
Getting back to our HIIT sessions under the orange lights, also includes those other activities that we love to so.
Running events is a byproduct of the cardio we put into our sessions and put it to the test when we run at these events.
In October, we will be running our first event of 2022 and will be our first one at the Cocoa Beach Ron Jon 10k and Half Marathon.
Tiffa and I had already booked our spots long before the accident, but we also kept it reasonable by choosing the 10k leg of the run.
It would have been smarter to start with a 5K as our first running event post physical therapy, but we will listen to our bodies during the run; of course.
Looking forward to adding those medals to our collection!!
Great American Bacon Race 2016
Coincidentally, my FB timeline had one of my favorite running events remind me when I placed in the Top 3 for my age group back in 2016.
Six years ago, I was at a whole other level and was running with ease.
We ran it a couple of times after that, but they haven’t been back this way since the pandemic.

I love running, so the last couple of years has been frustrating trying to get back to what I am accustomed to.
Nevertheless, I will breathe a sigh of relief when I’m running and working out again.
