It was starting to rain but I went outside the coffee shop and took photos!
That was the story behind these photographs. These were taken when my sisters and I had a meeting for Sassy cebuanaS's launch. I recently purchased the Japan kawaii Stationery Set from @creativitine of Bloom Cebu and I still was unable to flex the gorgeous box, that's why I brought it with me during our meeting. I looked for an opportunity a.k.a. a good angle where I can start taking photos. As soon as I saw the beautiful blooms outside, it then sparked the idea.
Let it be known though: I am no pro at photography nor I claim to be. My sisters tell me that I don't take good photos lol. But my friends tell me I take quite decent photos. That's about it: people always have something to say and you get to decide which is which. I know that sometimes I take good angled-shots but there are also moments when I don't. Honestly, a few years ago I find it hard to take criticism constructively. Whenever I hear negative feedback, I took it personally and I realized that was pretty bad. Nowadays, thankfully, I use these criticisms to improve my skillset and make me better. Oh my - so sorry I'm rambling here haha. But you get the picture.
Anyway, going back to these boxes, I know I had to take photos and justify its awesomeness, right? Even when it was slowly pouring out, I managed to take a couple decent-looking photos. Since the Stationery Set's hue was pink, it was perfect that the bougainvillea were, yay! Then I thought to myself: this is what beauty does - it draws people close to it and you get mesmerized by its charm. Looking at the bits and pieces of the Stationery Set blending in with the flower blooms - well yeah all's well with the world, a flower at a time. 🌸
PS, the last photo was when I took it out and made an actual journal spread - of which I had posted on the blog a week ago, I guess.
