As the amount of daylight per day is fading and the temperatures are slowly starting to drop, the last signs of autumn are also starting to disappear. October had so many mushrooms everywhere as it was moisty enough and because of the high temperatures these guys remained to stick around.
So as the last shrooms in the woods are being trampled by the falling wet leaves I found some cool ones on my phone from the last couples of weeks.
Literally I havent seen one single red dotted 'traditional' mushroom anywhere this season, but who cares when all of these strange shaped ones are around. I even saw some moist hanging on the small funghis on the dead trees. 10 times zoom on the phone? Not so easy to zoom in with cold hands haha.
And the white powder? I think this is the mushroom dumping its spores for next season to make sure it reproduces. Sign for next year.
Im curious if next year in the same spot will have a city of shrooms ready for the imaginary elves in there...
But first? First frosty will make the entrance in the upcoming week here. Curious if we will see some snow!
