I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.
-- Mark Twain
About the Quote
Education is a life-long process of learning. It's vital for how we become better people personally, professionally, and even spiritually and mentally. School is used to teach us certain things, some of which are even useful to us.
For people who enjoyed school, it was just the first step in the life-long educational process. For people who didn't enjoy school, it was something to get through before the real learning could start. Either way, education is a vital part of our lives.
Some Information about Mark Twain
Samuel Langhorne Clemens, known by many as Mark Twain, was born in Florida, Missouri, US on 1835-November-30. He died in Redding, Connecticut, US on 1910-April-21.
Mark Twain was a humorist, journalist, lecturer, and novelist. He became famous internationally for his travel writings, especially The Innocents Abroad (1869), Roughing It (1872), and Life on the Mississippi (1883). He is also known for boyhood adventure fiction such as The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1876) and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1885).
Due to mounting debts accumulated by his father, John Clemens, the Clemens family moved from Florida, MO 30 miles (50 kilometers) east to the Mississippi River town of Hannibal, MO. At the time, Samuel Clemens was about 4 years old. It would be his experiences living in Hannibal which would form the basis for the novels featuring characters Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.
